I saw D Jr open for The Cure. I wasn't impressed but then again The Cure is simply awesome! One of the top five bands I've seen live.....including the Stones, The Who, Queen, Clapton, whomever!

Man, J's voice is like, I don't know, an entity of it's own. He doesn't scream, he hasn't the most melodic voice in the world but heck, he can make you feel every word he says, he ACTS songs. Not to mention his superb guitar playing. Awesome, favorite band.

The melvins and dinosaur jr, two of my top 5 bands, i love them the same way, but i think in this one, i preffer the melvins version, more deep, more cruel, it´s an amazing cover they did.
