the cbr will no longer be hondas power house. new for 2012 is going to be the RVF1000r RC60. honda is not going to be using the cbr for raceing it will be using the new bike for motogp. it will have a V4 enging putting out a claimed 190-200hp stock. honda says it will put them back in the game. it looks bad ass to. it is in the new motorcyclist magazine. honda says it will get more attention from them than the cbr line of bikes. i cant wait till it comes out and destroys the s1000rr and zx-10r.

Nice bike....looks good to me. My bike is originally half matte black, so that's probably why I like this one. That's why I choose mine, for the way it looked. Vid could have had a little more footage of the bike (walkaround) so we can see and appreciate it more. Good video overall.

i have a 2005 cbr 1000rr i just put a m4 slip on exhaust on and the sevr o meter or whatever that is hooked to the exhaust that i took off made a red light flash fi on my bike now,,,what do i do,,there is no place to hook it back up now..help me

Well, it seems like you have unplugged the lamda sond (oxygen sensor needed for the Engine Control Unit (ECU)). You need a lamda sond eliminator, Search through google and you will find solutions....

1. They crashed their bike and ruined their "Nice" original paint. *paint over scrapes*

or...

2. They had mis-matched fairings... aka different colors and couldnt afford the OEM replacements in proper colors...

You can then sell used bike almost as new, as you put back original "unused" parts. <- and this is what happened with the bike in this movie

well Ive 'murdered' my GSXR in finest matt black. I still have my "nice" panels in my garage but I get enormous satisfaction when people write the bike off because it isn't a race rep, until they get pissed off you have screamed past them for them to find it actually has top quality parts on (maxton/ohlins/quickshifter/et­c). think the blade looks good myself

if a cbr1000 is ur first bike...then ur practically dead...bikes too much if your a new rider. If you just want to get into riding, you need a f4i, if thats too much..go with a ninja 250...thats what I started on

Seriously, If this is going to be your first bike. DON'T get a 1,000 CC anything...

Pull up craigslist and look for a used sportbike that's between 5-10 years old, with less than 10,000 miles on it.

Remember, we're talking bikes here, not cars. 10,000 miles is just getting broken in. less than 10 years old means parts are already in the system and fairly cheap.

I ride a 92' EX 500 with only 50 hp, and have no trouble outrunning traffic. For $1,500 I'm not complaining..

yeah i've got a bike i've got to replace or repaint most of the fairings on (98 triumph t595) which was red, then the retard that owned it b4 us painted it traffic cone orange and wrecked it. I'm thinking about going all matte black paint maybe doing blackout on the tailights and headlights, i've got a bright red bike I ride way more.
