@peakajean mikeys using 3 different colors for this so i would say you will probably want to start with 2 skiens of each color and then buy more if you need it.......

mikey, you should start things with a magic circle instead of fighting like this with all that. The only time you need to do a chain row is for a scarf and stuff like that. For this one if you had done a magic circle you would have a big empty space to make all those hdc.

ugh. can you tell me what i did wrong. i follw the direction every step you did, but mines end up becoming a rounded in the first row. it's not flat like yours.

Thanks so much for posting this! when i made my first sock it was as thick as a cast lol. But i gave them to my sister and she uses them while camping. I also found that if you take a hot glue gun and put little drops of glue on the bottom the will really be slippers and have great traction!
