I like American Chopper and like Paul Jr designs but I think Jesse's bike looked better. Jr's looked like a couple of Benz logo's with riveted chrome pieces between them.
i think jesse should of won. not cuz he built if from scratch but because his biked looked the best. it had a great attention to detail. jr bike looked like a common template bike they use that was just bejeweled. wouldnt want to be seen on the crap

juniors bike was only ordered barts put together and put his name on it, and you would destroy your ass from riding it, jesse`s bike on the other hand is built from scratch and it is actually possible to ride it on long trips...... the votings was clearly just fans of junior who voted..... yes, juniors is nicer too look at but looks is not all..
I rode a 1948 pan head for a few years. Sold it in 1971. Way ahead of it's time. Big fat cheater slick in back. Beautiful stock springers. Frame molded into the tank. Beautiful candy chartreuse paint (look it up). When I saw Jesse James bike, my first thought was "it's just another chopper". Granted, mechanically, it was 5 times better than my old bike, but for looks, mine was better. It was just another chopper.
That's why Jessie is a legend in the bike building business. He built all your parts and assembled them in house so you knew the product you were getting was the best product on earth. Paul is the best at what he does but he only assembles bikes at his shop. The only thing I seen him fabricate from scratch are gas tanks. Him and Vinny only designs the bikes mostly then outsources the parts.
These guys are two different builders with two different styles. Jessie builds everyday riders that will last ten lifetimes and Paul builds functional Art work. As you can see when they said BUILD OFF Jessie built a bike from scratch, that's just him. Paul JR designed, made a gas tank and assembled a bike with parts from other companies, THATS JUST HIM. They both were killer bikes but i would go for Jesse's just because i know the work is gauranteed to last I cant say the same for Pauls

I dont know, Paul JR has a vision. But its design over function. Its not very practicle no but man that is a beautiful bike and the design is top notch. Id rather ride jesse's bike and look at pauls. they are both great bikes I dont know why people have to hate on one builder or the other. Paul doesnt build "Ridem every day grocery getters" and Jesse didnt go all out like he use to on his bike so he lost. IN terms of a design build off he loses. I like jesse better but he lost fairly

I'm glad Jr. won, I'm a big Jr. fan, but I wasn't feeling this bike and my vote was for Jesse. It's kinda sad to say because this was a typical Jesse James bike. I was hoping he'd go outside the box. I like Jr. because he always comes up with something new, something we've never seen before and his creativity is off the charts. Any other Jr. bike would've smoked this competition. Jesse stuck to his guns and built a great bike. Another ordinary bike, but a great bike. Can't wait to see round 2.

Not only would I have picked Paul Jr., but I'd picked seniors bike over James. James did something I could have done, and I've never built a bike before and I believe I could have gave James a run for his money. Seniors I wouldn't want to buy it, but he took it to a different level, it was cool in a completely different way. All these was not design for practical use(art). Paul Jr. just made hands down the best art piece there. I was very disappointed with James, it doesn't look like he tried.

I ride a large Vtwin that weighs a little over 500#, a 1100 sportbike with well over 150 hp., a ysr50, a 500 street bike. I own many styles and raising my kids to ride them.

I rode a 1948 pan head for a few years. Sold it in 1971. Way ahead of it's time. Big fat cheater slick in back. Beautiful stock springers. Frame molded into the tank. Beautiful candy chartreuse paint (look it up). When I saw Jesse James bike, my first thought was "it's just another chopper". Granted, mechanically, it was 5 times better than my old bike, but for looks, mine was better. It was just another chopper.

That's why Jessie is a legend in the bike building business. He built all your parts and assembled them in house so you knew the product you were getting was the best product on earth. Paul is the best at what he does but he only assembles bikes at his shop. The only thing I seen him fabricate from scratch are gas tanks. Him and Vinny only designs the bikes mostly then outsources the parts.

These guys are two different builders with two different styles. Jessie builds everyday riders that will last ten lifetimes and Paul builds functional Art work. As you can see when they said BUILD OFF Jessie built a bike from scratch, that's just him. Paul JR designed, made a gas tank and assembled a bike with parts from other companies, THATS JUST HIM. They both were killer bikes but i would go for Jesse's just because i know the work is gauranteed to last I cant say the same for Pauls

I dont know, Paul JR has a vision. But its design over function. Its not very practicle no but man that is a beautiful bike and the design is top notch. Id rather ride jesse's bike and look at pauls. they are both great bikes I dont know why people have to hate on one builder or the other. I'm glad Jr. won, I'm a big Jr. fan, but I wasn't feeling this bike and my vote was for Jesse. It's kinda sad to say because this was a typical Jesse James bike. I was hoping he'd go outside the box. I like Jr. because he always comes up with something new, something we've never seen before and his creativity is off the charts. Any other Jr. bike would've smoked this competition. Jesse stuck to his guns and built a great bike. Another ordinary bike, but a great bike. Can't wait to see round 2.

Not only would I have picked Paul Jr., but I'd picked seniors bike over James. James did something I could have done, and I've never built a bike before and I believe I could have gave James a run for his money. Seniors I wouldn't want to buy it, but he took it to a different level, it was cool in a completely different way. All these was not design for practical use(art). Paul Jr. just made hands down the best art piece there. I was very disappointed with James, it doesn't look like he tried.

I ride a large Vtwin that weighs a little over 500#, a 1100 sportbike with well over 150 hp., a ysr50, a 500 street bike. I own many styles and raising my kids to ride them.
I know why the "frisco" style developed. So yes I know what it is and when it developed and also why! My nick name the police had for me was " 'THE' carbon monoxide commando." I know bikes! That is why I can say the "frisco" style is a poor concept.

A real bike build off is not judge just on looks, theirs so much more to a bike then just looks, if this was about looks then yeah I give it to Jr. But I wouldn't call it a bike build off with out taking the bikes on a road trip to see what the bikes can really do.
