Sorry yall, I havnt checked these videos for a while. Today I noticed there were some homo's that decided to get on youtube, search out hunting videos, watch them only to make crude comments. I never will unerstand that... Anyway, I have removed the stupidity and appreciate the conversation and comments thus far....
Great shot!! I currently shoot the Rage 2 blades and have shot 2 deer this year. The broadhead tears up the inside of the deer and kills but I am not happy with the blood trails. The commercial comparing the Rage to the G5 T3 "Do you want a sliver?? Or do you want the T3 from G5?" is very accurate. The wounds from the rage just don't open up enough. I think I will be switching to the G5T3 soon, maybe even for another doe this month.
Nice man.. I shoot the muzzy mx3 with pretty good success.. I've been thinking about going expandable but im just not sure.. this vid makes me think more about it.. nice shot
Beautiful shot on that beautiful deer. She's going to taste good for sure. I still have to get a few here in Pa. Thank god the archery season runs until the end of january. Shoot straight buddy.
@snobugs1 your comment about not getting big wounds wit h50 lbs or less is false. The size of the wound has nothing to do with how much poundage you shoot only the cutting diameter of your broadhead.Your arrow weight will affect wether you get good penetration or not I'm old school I still shoot a 3-d rover rest, thunderhead fixed 3 blade braodheads just this year started shooting carbon arrows and may go back to 2013's and only pull 60 lbs.Arrow weight is the key for good penetration.
@bigphil308 In theory I would have to agree however I notice that the cuts are always bigger than the bade expansion. I have seen rage's cause a nice clean 4" cut but the blades are only a little over 2" open. I wouldnt be afraid to bet my milk nickle that speed does help in throwing a larger wound.
nice hit and finish. Great gaping wound. I currently use rage 2 blades with great success but wouldn't hesitate to try these. I think the key to getting fast kills with rage and t3's is kinetic energy. It takes force to make big cuts. Especially when hitting bone. All these people that claim bad penetration and no recovery need to look at their rigs. You aren't going to get big wounds with 50 lbs or less if you hit even one rib. Just my opinion. Great video! Happy hunting!
@lbdygy Thanks. I just got back into bow hunting last year and man the bow world has changed. I was going with the Rage but everyone goes rage it seems. I wanted something different but would work. My first doe this year I sent the arrow through the spine, down through the heart and out the brisket. I got a complete pass through and the deer never made a step. Ive been very happy with the T3.
