Diesel Weekend at Union is so great.....rode 47,000 miles on 17 different RRs from '47-66.....almost all diesel powered.

If I were retired, I'd enjoy helping to restore her as I enjoy working with steels. Mild steel is very easy to fabricate and weld, especially with the modern precision MIG Welding machines from Miller and Lincoln.

It's possible that 118 A,B,C ran on one Milwaukee main line thru Guttenberg, Iowa

in the 60's?? I spent a couple of summers with my Grandma there and the track ran

practically thru her back yard. Nice memories ! Not sure about the numbers.

That was an ALCO engine. It was the Minnesota Terminal RS3.
