  • One word... HOW?!

  • Amazing

  • how long did it take? but...the music is so rubbish

  • nice job!

  • the right hands are too small

  • how do u get so accurate?

  • pls tell me the secret of ya free hand clean lines. I mean i often try to draw over my sketch but i never get a result like you with my lineart. Is it just experience or ....

    PLs tell me

  • WOW good work! but it looks like hes pregenent tho:P but nice work!

  • nice music :D

  • @k1ttyyh you know what would make it sound even worse...... that dubstep wubwubwubwub sound haha

  • where did go to learn man!!! cause this leaves my speechless

  • cool i brand new iron man with a mechanical ulcer in is lower abdominal...SWEEET

  • Nothing wrong with the music, I was too busy staring at the awesomeness happening before my eyes~ ;> Really like it, thank you!

  • Awesome! Just asking, how is it when you color you can erase without messing up the whole drawing. Trying to paint something in sketchbook designer and I'm having trouble painting sharp edges. Everything looks bright with soft edges which is fine but I want a darker night time and grittier theme.

  • Because using paper is too mainstream ... Awesome sketch is aweso

  • Nice sketch!!! And i do like the music! Mainstream people will never understand. Try Kid606 if u never have, it will give ur brain a workout! :D

  • music is awful but the drawing is fucking cool. keep it up, man.

  • Hey guys you could just muted the music instead of complaining : P

  • sick sick sick!!

  • worst music ever

  • Awesome video, mate. Great work.

  • that's awsome

  • i thought the music was great! even added to my playlist thx for introducing me to clark

  • Nice rendering skills but spend more time on foreshortening. That left arm looks weird.

  • Comment removed

  • This guy has no life!! DAMN!!!

  • I admire your drawings so much I want to learn to draw this well. How did you learn

  • Sick bro... Sick..

  • that takes no skill, its just all editing!

  • @TwiiSTeDKaRMa6 Because artists who draw on paper use pens.

  • you missed a leg..

  • How do you vector on sketchbook?

  • You are a skilled artist. I think you could evolve the design a bit more.

The neck area feels like one big mass, breaking that up (Trapezius, sterno mastoid0 would allow him to move his nec. The left arm looks a little to small as the perspective isn't really deep enough to be that thin.

The spec lighting could be much tighter. Right now it just looks like an airbrushed surface. And the colors are a bit flat. They'd be fine for an under layer, but you could build on it.

  • Proportions look fine, the pose could be more dynamic, but even in this pose, it just needs more pop.

Nice work though. Thanks for sharing.

  • left arm closer woulda made whole thing look cleaner but i really like your take on ironman

  • how do you do it to make his armor look like its shining?

  • @MrDezJ With the eraser tool, shading brush, and Lots of practice...

  • @you2449 shading brush?

  • iron man embarazado? aojoajoaa

  • Thank god for mute. Nice painting though :)

  • idk why but feel myself uncomfortable with this software

  • Cool Iron Man design bro.

  • amazing just AMAZING!!!

  • i will never understand how people can use sketchbook pro.

  • how to blend colors? like smudging them together?

  • @k1ttyyh What would you recommend? Not trying to be a dick; just interested.

  • @heroemission hillarious, i thought the music what completely fitting. pace, style, mood ect. sat so well with the rapid and rhythmic brushstrokes

  • @heroemission Iron Man - Black Sabbath

  • @heroemission Great art, but the music was a little rough. It did get a little better after the first part... again great art!

  • @heroemission well i would like some A7X please...

  • @heroemission I recommend rick roll. Not trying to be a dick either. Just saying. Anyway. this is a cool video. I thumbs it up ya knoe. For the 32 dislike. I bet most of u cannot do better than this.

  • @heroemission I like the music.

  • @heroemission

    The Knife <3

    Zeigeist <3

    Crystal Castles <3

Infected Mushroom (personally not a big fan but it's kind of better version of what you have here)

  • @heroemission do you use a drawing tablet or a mouse!?

  • keep your pimp hand strong

  • BARRACUDA!!!

  • He is fat :D look on belly :D, some kinda alien predator guy or something from Quake :D

  • can you please let me know what custom brush you created to do your "Line-In" phase? i have sketchbook pro and i cant seem to create a custom Line-In brush that Im comfortable with but yours seems like i would love it very much. You'd be doing me a huge favor if you can tell me what brush you selected and the settings for it. btw love your art, easily subscribed!

  • @UNIVERSE500DJK There is a Arc unit on his chest. It's just not blue. It's yellow and protected, it's right below the red chest piece, only slightly hidden. I never did really like the idea that Iron Man always had his main source of power right there in plain view. It was kinda like "Yeah. This is what keeps me alive. Go ahead, you know where it is. Take it when I'm not in the suit." Kinda like what Jeff Bridges' character in the first movie did. Anyway.

  • amazing, but he looks kinda fat :P

  • nice video, i've been trying to speed paint on my ipad too.

  • @UNIVERSE500DJK It's a CONCEPT drawing, dumb ass.

  • Your Iron Man is pregnant...

  • Looks pregnant.

  • What is the computer's requirement for this type of drawing?

  • mr the cintq 21 is very expensive for me as a student, is it worth while if your going to do lots of this concept sketching? and drawing painting stuff?

  • im so jealous of your skill :(

  • When you start coloring at around 0:45 how do you make the lines still show up? Whenever I start adding color to my pictures, the lines underneath get buried.

  • @NinhPianoAndArt He probably colors on a layer underneath the one where the lines are.

  • @fckyubth1 Oh, how does he move the color layers down? Whenever I add new layers, the new one is automatically on top. Or does he probably make all of the layers before drawing, then draw the lines on the top layer and work his way down?

  • @NinhPianoAndArt Hey. Yeah, new layers always start on top of the active layer. you can move them around by dragging on the icon at the top right of the layer window. (Three horizontal lines with 2 arrows.) Hope that helps.

  • @heroemission Thanks, that helps a lot!

  • one year old yesterday : )

  • You are my GOD!!! Simply awesome!

  • the figure and foreshortening are a little off, but nice attempt!

  • @heroemission are your hands just that steady, or do you have a special setting? Awesome job

  • I LOVE IT <333 good job

  • Are you using a cintiq or tablet pc?

  • his anatomy looks SOO weird. The coloring is awesome though.

  • how long u take to draw this pic?

  • As from what I saw from this video, approx. 5 hours non-stop

  • They should use this one for the next movie.

  • The way you colour is insane. Got a tutorial on how you learned to do it or is it all self taught?

  • how do you do neat precise lines when your darkening it

  • doesnt like him

  • This guy worked 5 hours on it, but i think it was worth it

  • Please tell me you used reference to do this right?

  • how long do you take to make this ?

  • guys...*******.which is better the audiodesk sketchbook pro or photoshop for drawing?****

  • @Mynameisblankk Sketchbook pro for drawing. but if editing photos is your thing then photoshop

  • Do you have any dislikes, concerning SBP?

  • wow- i have an intuos 4, but the cintiq still seems amazing to me... i hope i get as good as you with it... i'm still having a hard time with the programs that i've been using...

  • Cool story bro.

  • your music is bad

  • BEAST HOMIE

  • Great work! The technique is fascinating.

  • What is he doing? Directing traffic? hahah love it

  • IT would have been faster with pencils erasers, water color and ink

    Well at least for me

I dont know how to use any computer programs

  • Cool Great work. I would like to see your work on other heroes.

  • I am using a Wacom bamboo pen and touch and I love it. But I have a question. How do you keep your lines so smooth and straight? Are your hands that good and steady or do u have a certain setting? And what setting are you using to do your final outline before you color it? Your work is very inspirational and you should definitely do actual tutorials cause I would love the training.

  • How hard is it to get the hang of using Sketchbook Pro because I'm going to get it soon and I'm just wondering.

  • 1 word. AWSOME!!!!

  • OMG I WILL CHOP OF UR HANDS TONIIGHT AND KEEP EM >.>

  • @MatriXtyle Google it. What if the explanation was two pages long. Do you think he was going to type what can easily be found on wiki. Any way sorry for the out burst. But layers are exactly just what it says. Layers. Like overhead projector sheets. You draw on one. Put a clear layer over. Draw on that one. Keep going. That way if you mess up on like the hand shadow. If you did your hand shadow on just that layer you can throw that one away without having to erase down and potentially ruin goo

  • ridiculous talent... mad props. What's the track?

  • is the left hand really small or is it far away

  • @IncSwaGG Yeah, it was supposed to be far away, but I guess I dropped the ball on the perspective.

  • @heroemission we all do it from time to time, lol no biggie

  • @heroemission Anyway you draw like I'll never do, because Cintiq is too expensive for me. It's like US$ 2000,00 for the 12wx Cintiq4 in Brazil and my dude bought it for US$ 900,00 at USA when he'd traveled there. The 21wx is like... US$ 4500,00. T_T

  • @sirock3r still a small head.. imagine him without armor. it's still just as small

  • rather small head

  • I need help, I have CS5 and am thinking of getting this two.

But what is easyer to use, this or Photoshop cs5??

I am still getting used to CS5 so I don’t want a burden on my shoulders lol.

By the way what is better?

  • what tablet are you using?

  • @ironman127b Wacom Cintq 21UX

  • @heroemission dang man. lucky you. I wanted one when they first came out, but the $2-3k price tag shut down that dream ;)

  • great job dude!

  • Holy mother of god o_O epic

  • epic

  • Thas not iron man, thats just a bad ass drawing of a robot that kinda looks like iron man. :)

  • this COULD be iron man...

  • cool painting but that one does not look like iron man

  • to me it kinda looks like a cyborg version of Scorpion

  • I checked it out and sketchbook pro only costs $79, thats pennies compared to photoshop, unless ofcourse you dont pay for it...

  • I checked it out and sketchbook pro only costs $79, thats pennies compared to photoshop, unless ofcourse you dont pat for it...

  • what tablet do you use?

  • how many hours went into this? this is amazing

  • THATS AWESOME! how do you do it? do you use a picture for reference, or is it purely memory?

  • That is cool man, wish i could do stuff like that.

  • I cant draw on a computer, but i can with a pencil. I can paint on a computer, but not by hand in the way that i can on a computer @_@

  • left arm ( iron man point of view ) is way too small

  • why are you using sketchbook? is it better than photoshop? i tried demo and it seemed cool, but i couldnt organize the pen pressure function.. does sketchbook have it? thanks! keep up the work!:)

  • Who's the music by?

  • this is a nice drawing but WTF this aint IRONMAN.

  • @SuperNumber19 No man.... xD

  • Ewww that man is pregoo!!!!!!! GRoss

  • Nice finishing but some of your construction seems off, like his arm that's going back in space. His stomach seems to bulge a bit weirdly too. I do love your finishing technique though, it's absolutely beautiful.

  • nice painting but uh.. proportion fail?

  • Was this concept of Iron Man used for anything specifically or just for fun? I really like the design.

  • wow, its jsut amazing to see, how beutiful you draw and colorate this picture, amazing

  • this is what sets the amateurs are the professionals apart.

  • @heroemission its hard for me to pain in sketchbook pro 2010. when working with small brushes. Theres no corsshairs to indicate where my cursor is. do you know how to fix this.

  • Change the music bro... uuhgg annoing

  • OK. Q_Q

  • love this look of iron man maybe even more then the original

  • is iron man a prego?

  • Left leg beat him, lol...nice colors but looks like "Cyborg Scorpion" to me.. XD, anyway well done man!

  • -One word...

    Amazing!

  • god man congratulations!!

  • Wow!!! Hypnotic...amazing... you have this down to a science...keep up the great work...

  • How many layers?

  • How many layers?

  • @dshapdesign Probably somewhere in the 100 range.

  • @heroemission What are layers? Sorry for stupid question.

  • @heroemission I get so into stuff I forget to add new layers and end up screwing my self over :(

  • @heroemission beast i can only go ten layers of colors and shades

  • @dshapdesign if you have a look at the 720p version you can see he used 152 layers. Great work and a very original concept.

  • 4:16 Minutes of my life that I will never get back watching this crap.

  • @DojoOfPain

    ...you can't be serious?

  • @DojoOfPain yeah doing what????? dumb ass....

  • Awesome job... But I'm pretty sure that's not iron man... I don't know... I might be wrong...

  • i don't get it....how can people unlike?...well

the best thing about your drawing is the right hand....it looks so natural ;P

  • freaking amazing bro, keep it up.

  • he looks weird. Nice coloring but you can't say that looks right.

  • I have a question also: after you put color/highlights/shadows in, do you use any function to erase just ouside the lines, or is your hand that good?

  • @p3tr361 I just do it free hand. The sped up version doesn't really show how many undo/redos I do during this process, but it works for me.

  • I have one question for you. I see that after the initial sketch you make a next layer and draw the lines over it. What pencil do you use for that(i mean what settings do you use)?

  • @Schabiq Custom Brush > Pencil. Size/Heavy = 2.1, Size/Light = 0.1, Opacity/Heavy = 86, Opacity/Light =0.1, Roundness= 1.0, Slant=0, Spacing =1.2. Solid Edges.

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

  • @heroemission Thanks a bunch.

  • @heroemission nope, it doesnt! and i have sketchbook pro! well im new at this, kind of confusing.
