  • OMG IS DIS DA PILOT? can sum one plz tell me da link? PLZZZZZ

  • aswome show

  • If people are gonna talk shit then don't watch the show. If something like this existed I'm sure there are lots of purposes people would hire the actives for, including a disposeable lover. They're just looking at it logically, and it's not all they get hired for dumbass.

  • This trailer appears to be using footage from how the show was originally conceived and shot, before Fox stuck their nose in it (as has happened between them and Whedon before) to basically fuck it up. That's why the first five episodes (especially the premiere and ep 3) were only ok. The show didn't really find its feet until last week (ep 6) and it's gradually now started to feel like a Joss show. I have to confess that in those early eps Eliza had alot of Julie Benz's mannerisms. Weird.

  • This is an awesome show! It reminds me of an anime called "Ghost in the Shell." In Ghost in the Shell they are bots with AI in this, they are real people with their mind hacked.

  • From what I just gathered from watching this, they voluteered to be part of this. It was thier choice. Are they human or are they a.i. That's what I want to know.

  • Spoiler ***kind of anyway. Maybe I have the concept wrong but it seems kinda like slavery, mental rape not to mention unknowing prostitution since she slept with the guy in this ep. and then won't remember. Whats great about that? Man or woman its disturbing.

  • Comment removed

  • At first I said it was manipulation but now I see what you're talking about after watching this whole "spoiler".

  • "Whats great about that?" I don't think the show is making an endorsement for the premise underlying its storyline.

  • The idea of this show bothers me. A woman is being used as anyone sees fit? Then has her memory wiped so she can be used by someone new. I find that disturbing.

  • I realize that this is much like you say; but as it goes along it seams its more about overcoming the wipe and regaining herself while growing as well and that intrigues me.

  • The British woman who talks through this promo... is she the same woman who played Gwendolyn Post on Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I can't quite tell, but she looks/sounds like it.

  • i thougt that too.. i'm not sure tough

  • I'm not sure about that, but she's been in Rushmore.

  • That's what I thought, but it's not her according to IMDB.

  • Only one more week to go and i'm still excited for the show!

    ;)

  • thinking the same thing

    but still excited anyway :D

  • but Joss is doing it so it'll be awesome

  • shouldnt u b happy that there is gonna be another show that is simular to those shows? they were awesome and they not on tv anymore, so be thankful this is gonna be.

  • i am glad about joss having a new show... apart from that i think alias went on for long enough (certainly longer than some of the better tv series) so i dont really miss the "chick goes on extreme missions undercover all over the world" thing... hopefully Dollhouse will be different

  • love how joss sneaks in actors from buffy/angel i miss seeing them all. i think the 'boss looking lady is played by faith's imposter watcher that had her steal the glove of myhnegon in episode 7 revelations buffy season 3

  • It's not the same actress, the one who was her imposter watcher is Serena Scott Thomas, sister of Kristin Scott Thomas. In Dollhouse the actress is Olivia Williams. But am still super excited to see Amy Acker as part of the show, although she'll always be Fred to me... The show starts Feb 13th on FOX if anyone wasn't aware already. Can't wait!

  • Yep.

    She will ALWAYS be Fred.

  • Or Illyria. Illyria was badass...

  • True, Illyria was bad-ass.

But i always felt a connection with Fred.

    Amy played Fred better.

  • She did? As she said in some interviews she did Fred is basically her, playing Illyria was like playing a supervillain, punk/dominatrix (whatever that leather/blue hair get-up was supposed to be) ex-demon king-turned supergirl or something. It threw Amy off the deep-end and I think she was basically played a much tougher role, and pulled it off basically seamlessly. It's easy to play yourself, it's much tougher to do what she did, which is largely due to her and Joss's crew.

  • I.e. it showed the depths of which she was capable and was some of the best acting in that show, as you got in the best of Buffy (seasons 2 and 3), Angel (Seasons 3-5), Firefly and Serenity and Doctor Horrible (God I never knew what Neal Patrick Harris was capable of till I saw that film!). And as much as I like the Angel comic so far (only read the 1st 8 issues), Illyria on paper so far is not Amy in leather/blue wig; she doesn't have the same choreography, acting, eloquence and charm as in 3D.

  • the whole glamogirl thing is really obnoxious. However, this show looks AMAZING. Joss is brilliant

  • Whats with the crap spam text in the video? Don't put shit on the video, man. Totally spoilt it.

  • OMJ I wanna watch this so badly, Joss Whedon is a god. I can just tell this show is gonna be awesome!

  • mmm

  • the world is very hahah :P

  • nice

  • looks good

  • xoxoxoxoxo

  • ´´Did I fall asleep?´´ :D i love eliza(K)

  • These "Dolls" can be the perfect companion?

  • Eliza is Hot:P
