I own a 97 W140 S600 and love every minute of it. The maintenance hasnt been as bad as I originally thought. The only issue I've had was with the rear hydraulic struts (accumulators go bad over time) Runs perfectly with 170k+. This is by far the best road car I have ever owned including a 98 BMW 750il I previously owned. I would recommend this car to any buyer with semi-substantial income. 1 BILLION DOLLARS designing the W140 and a new W140 S600 cost more than $140K in the 90's! Money well spent

@NebunLaCap No They are ALL the same length if its a W140 S320 S420 S500 S600 or even the SEL models all the same unless they are a SWB short wheel base mostly found on only a few 300 320 and 400 models... Wheels are about the only diffrence on any of these cars besides a few minor trinkets inside ie suede roof reclyning rear seats heatet rear etc same cars S500 is likely the best if you want power they run forever and are easy and cheap to maintain if power is no factor than just get a 320....

except that this Mercedes is one of the last overly detailed over worked high end Mercedes made and the fact that it is a far better car than any infinity ever, even back in 1992. and the 1992 model had a lot of features that not even the top line infinities have today or are now getting. do some research, far better looking than q45, q45 strives for this lvl of class, guys putting on merc like rims and pretending and wishing they owned one of these. go a head park any q45 next to it.
