@grayfire777 Hell, Hasbro itself prety much took "The Real AMERICAN Hero" out of GI Joe with the movie (Globally Integrated Joint Operations Entity) because other countries would think us arrogant. They made Cobra an "Evil Organization" rather than terrorists because we have to be politically correct. Plus plastic standards are cheaper and there isnt even an o-ring construction anymore.

Hasbro has turned out to be a greater enemy to GI Joe than Cobra

Hasbro is releasing a new Skystriker this year that is heavily faithful to the original construction, with some minor aesthetic tweaks and a new detailed one seater cockpit.

There is a RUMOR, that the Whale Hovercraft MIGHT be getting a re-issue as well. But there is nothing to substantiate that claim at present. Since this is the 30th Anniversary other classic vehicles will get re-tooled and re-issued. So keep your fingers crossed

That was ok since Cobra was always attacking GI Joe when they were in my pool.

So the timing was always right, Snake Eyes always managed to carjack a cobra vehicle and save everyone. Then it was dinner time.

lol my brother just called me like 2 weeks ago saying he found my old g.i. joe hover craft .with shipwreck and snake eyes in it lol and timber they found it in the basement in a plastic bag man that thing being their since 1987 or 88.when i turned 16 i just started chasing girls around lol. he shipped it over it was like christmas all over lol it missing the fans in the back and snakes only had the uzi and ship wreck was with poly the bird only man this where my original toys amazing!!!

i never got vehicles...i did get the gi joe fortress for christmas though, but now its banged up and missin alot of stuff and all thats left is just the base fold out parts are gone i just have the bottom piece now lol,,i may have more idk ill have to look

when the hovercraft came out, I thought it was big deal because it was at the time the coolest and biggest GI Joe toy. Then that monster sized 8 foot long Aircraft Carrier came out, it dwarfed everything and anything ever made from any toyline.

Got to love that commercial. COBRA is in the air and the Joes on the water. It was really amusing when they dropped mines in the water then one of the Joes goes out into the water. What good is that going to do when COBRA is in the air. I know it's just a commercial but it made me laugh. I remember this commercial but back in the 80's I guess I never thought about this.
