John, that looks like a fun project to tackle. I'm assuming you were refering to me when you said "Mikey next project?" I'd love to come help restore that. Have you considered turning that car into a bel air?
Actually the Bel-Air sedan is rarer than the 150 sedan. Bel-Air - 62,942 , 150 - 71,135. Unless you refer to the Utility sedan and those are indeed the rarest of the sedans at 8,817. Only thing rarer in 1957 than those were the Nomads 6,264. If that baby is indeed a utility sedan you gotcha self a great find! Should make a great car!! Best of luck!!
@LillithCarmichael i agree. i personally like the bel airs. but when people cologne 210s into a bel air they bever fix the trim in the back by the quarter panel. although it would be hard seeing how the panel is specifically molded on the top for the bel air trim. i own a 2 door hardtop bel air. my dad owns a 2 door sedan and my uncle owns a 4 door hard top with power steering power windows and power seats. i am going to be restoring my 57 in the next year or so. and would you think the 4 door
Yes the 57 Belair 4 door hardtop is actually rarer than its 2-door counter part. 137,672 of the 4doors were made. If it's optioned with all the power goodies oh yeah it would be a very nice one indeed. Finding power windows, steering and seats is indeed a rare find.
the only thing that drives me NUTS on the 4 door hardtops is the back window. the design! but it is so unique. and it is optioned. has 15 factory options with it!
Nice im glad to see someone restoring these legends other then letting them set in a field or junkyard an rot on into existence thats a good piece of history you got there 351 take care of her not many more like her around these days
thanks mike if all goes well. i may need some info on these things im more of a rat rod model a,b,and t nut. i have 15 cars now most are hot rods or projects of a wide variety.

I wouldn't mind a model 150 myself especially a big block equipped one! Park it beside my 454 Belair.....

Why would he do that? 150's are the rarest model, and they are the lightest.
