While the book goes further, the video is very accessible.

This little video needs to be watched by all Western Christians for two reasons: 1) To correct their ideas of Jesus' teachings on nonviolence and 2) to wake them up to the biases of their Bible's translations.

@heyseesco This is one of the best things I have ever heard! So much of Christian teaching has been mutated to suit Empire and hierarchy. But this opens the door for a stronger conviction to use Christ's teachings to oppose wrongs in the world. I think I am gonna share this.

Have you read Chris Hedges book 'American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America'? If not, you'll find it very illuminating.
There are some talks by Hedges on this topic here on You Tube also. Of course, the book goes into far greater detail.
