  • not bad of a system but one thing I am going to say, Whats it with the lights? I never could understand that with gaming rigs,

  • mötley crüe rocks!!!!

  • Sick game. its so addictive i test loads of games b4 they come out because im a member of 'betaTestGamers' - have a look at their website all you do is a write a small review of the game uve got

  • dude the GPU in that rig is a major draw back.

  • @kdawgmaster lol@your wrong knowledge. 8800 can be run on a low end AMD 939 4400 duel core and not have any draw back, go to school......

  • running a highend quad core with now a medium to low end GPU is a major draw back. with a Q9550 clocked at 3.9 and the 8800GTS if he was to get pretty much anything he would better performance. then what that 8800 could pump out.

  • I don't think you understand what a bottleneck is.

To put it bluntly, your computer only runs as fast as its slowest part.

    I have a C2D E8500 @ 4.2GHz (still worse than his CPU) and 2x HD 4870s, and I'm getting like 33% higher benchmark scores. (20500 in 3DMark06)

His GPU is FAR less powerful than his CPU, and because of that, his system is being bottlenecked.

    "Go to school".

  • @Haelstrome

    Your a fucking moron.

You have 2 4870's, just 1 rapes the 8800 hands down, hence your higher score, dumb ass. Put your GPU's in his computer and watch his score rape yours.

You know NOTHING about computers. The GPU is DEPENDENT on the CPU, not the other way around. I'm running a AMD x2 6000+ socket AM2(non "+" 95 watt) with a 4870, and I get THE SAME GPU score as everyone else, but my CPU score suffers. Of course that makes my OVERALL score worse, but it doesn't mean bottle neck.

  • Its correct, the better the CPU- the better it is for the GPU...

  • hey guys im hoping to build a new rig but i wanta know one more thing because im trying to decide on a cheaper MoBo:

does a intel i7 1366 socket have any performance differences compared to a intel i7 1156 socket?

  • in gaming, an i5 performs just as well i7 920, if not better. The i7 1366 vs i7 1156 is pretty even performance wise, but the 1156 is missing triple-channel memory which currently does nothing. Also the 1366 has the opportunity to get the i9, but honestly It's not worth it to put in $1000+ for the i9. If I were you buy a descent 1156 motherboard + i5 750, and in 1 - 2 years buy a 6gb/s, usb 3 motherboard and a new cpu.

  • thanx

  • you should try out the ASRock x58 Extreme. Its a great board for a reasonable price. I am running one with an i7 920 OC to 4.2 ghz and it runs very stable. and yess the i7 is a LGA1366

  • i know but theres is aslo two i7 1156

  • Holy Youkai Jesus. I heard V8 were big, but this is dangerous big. O.o

If I ever get that thing. I'm pretty sure I'll be taking it off when carrying it to LAN parties.

  • how is the q9550 i want to buy it too ?

  • It's very nice!^^ But you should buy a core i5 instead

  • why ? does it work better with the i5 ?

thx for the help frind subscribed to your channel ^^

  • the i5 is more bang for the buck adn the socket is more futureproof

  • thx for the help :)

  • @DJBACON8D really dude?? u put down ur q9550??? lol i was going to get a core i5 but got this instead, reason why the bundle for this was 400 dollars and 500 with windows 7, i just used my old ram. hdd. which is fast, ram is fast too. and dvd drive . i was going to go for the i5 bundle but the 170 dollars differece scared me away,

  • nice computer but i find the antec 1200 too big for air cooling :P

  • idiot you cant have 3x GTX295. stupid noob nobody wont believe you

  • LOL stupid fuck. its a Q9650 NOT A Q9560, corsair's ram is DOMINATOR, not extreme you retard. and your fuckin soundcard isnt real either because its called the Xtremegamer and it doesnt have X-ram on that shit you pussy ass liar.

  • hahaha, liar

  • you with u had that.. liar

  • wow, everything you said is wrong wrong wrong. you dont even know enough to make it up.. n00b

  • your coffers is bad of to watch (sorry for bad EN)

  • coffers?

  • audio

  • u have a great pc man ^_^ but mine is better^^

    i have intel i7

    4gb of ram 1tb hd

and xfx gf 295 2 way sli man i have a question

    how much is dat budget?

  • Comment removed

  • A GTX 295 has 2 graphics cards in it, so 2 of them would mean quad SLI which is really amazing. But right now by the looks of things that wont beat 2 ATI 5870X2's :) close tho.

  • Hey well i decided to ask you this , But what do you think of these specs?

    Case:Antec 900 Gamer Case

    CPU:Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550

    CPU Cooler:Noctua Dual Fan

    HD:500 GB Hitachi

    Mobo:Asus P5Q PRO

    RAM:4GB Corsair TwinX DDR2

    PSU:850W Corsair TX

    Graphics Card:XFX 4890 XXX Crossfire

A few cheapys there but i wanted crossfire so im futureproof for games , Gonna be a long time till i buy parts tho =[

  • Very nice!

  • get P5Q Deluxe if you want to overclock to 4Ghz or higher, because of better NB cooling ;)

  • Looks awesome but mine is more functional:P

  • Hey man, nice rig.

I can see that u are using the Cooler Master v8 for you cpu cooling. And you have overclocket the cpu with over 1000 Mhz!!! That's pretty much!!

Does your cpu run stable at those clocks??

Btw the storeclocks at the cpu is originally 2.83, right?

    Thanks :-)

  • The original clock is 2.83GHZ and I actually can run in 4GHZ as I do in my newer videos, in 4GHZ it's not very stable but it can run game benchmarks but in 3.9GHZ it's very stable!

  • Wow, that's good news. Thanks alot. You see my plans was to buy that cpu and the cooler for my new first custom biult pc after working in summer :-) Sounds really nice.

    Thank you!

  • Nice!

  • up the voltage a bit more or it might be your ram not likeing it I got mine to 4.5 no problems.. i found my ram didnt like doing more... same with the chipset of my mb..

  • Im thinking about making my very first own computer. Can you tell me if this is a good setup?

    Case: Antec 1200

    Mobo: EVGA 780i SLI

    PSU: Antec CP-850 850W

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yourkfield

    CPU Cooler: Zalman 9700

    RAM: Kingston 4gb(2 x 2gb) 240 pin ddr3

Hard Drive 1: Western Digital 320GB

Hard Drive 2: Western Digital 640GB

What else should I ad? Please reply for adjustments.

  • A graphics card like the GTX 275 would have been nice, and you can run 2x500gb harddrives in raid 0 that will give you a nearly 2x speed increase and 1tb space. THE MOTHERBOARD YOU CHOOSED IS NOT DDR3 SO YOU MUST RUN DDR2 IN IT!

  • monitor HP w2228h ?

  • Nope, It's HP w2007v

  • nice pc but personally i feel it is ruined by the antec case. buts thats a personal thing.

for those wondering the reason i hate the antec gaming cases are as follows.

    1. They have become far too generic

    2. the price is too much for a rectangle made of steel. and a couple of $3 fans

    3. Compared to many of other namebrand gaming cases for the same price they are utter shit. in quailty and performance

  • okey, but pesonally I think there is no better looking case than the antec 1200
