My Rooney fell asleep on the couch in a similar position once, with me sitting at right angles next to him on the floor. When I started petting him he started slowly inching closer to me till his head fell off the couch (like in the vid) and onto my lap. And he just kept sinking further and further down till i couldn't see his eyes and cheeks cause they were buried in my lap. Still slept on soundly. Dogs are amazing.
