  • can the sr handle a gopro on it??

  • I'm working with the SR now- I love this video...great Vangellis music with it, too. All the videos I find up with this heli are about a year old. I bought mine used. All but my T Rex 100 have been bought used. Trying to be gentle on what money I keep away from the family!

Thanks for the good videos. Wish I could afford the co-pilot...I would have kept my Blade 400 or EXI 450 if I had that co-pilot help. I am getting more air time with this SR....less parts to buy-so far!

  • Awesome video! I just bought the SR with my only other heli experience with the CX2 and boy are they different!! I am advanced in RC Airplanes but fairly new to helis and I can't see my self flying like you within the next whole year! I accidentally started on high rate mode lol! I have the training gear on and am trying to get all the basic flight done without breaking a blade. By the way, I can't hear any noise from that tail motor in this video, my tail motor whines sooooo loud! Normal?

  • cool video. once i master my Blade CX2 I'm definitely getting this heli.

  • @88warwolf - Even though the SR is an electric tail heli (which I normally hate), I have to say I LOVE my SR. Probably one of the better or best electric CPs Horizon Hobby has come out with to date.

  • @CrazyHeliDude thanks for the feedback. ended up selling my CX2 and got an SR 120 to learn single rotor and THEN im getting the SR. you have a good RC heli channel btw.

  • how long did it take you to be able to fly that good?

  • @tylerhell - I've been flying off and on for years but you could probably get there in a couple months if you keep at it.

  • Guys I have a question for you: which gyro adjustment is better for 3d flight? standard rate or heading lock??? Please answer

  • @yogevsery - Generally speaking, RATE mode is usually best for FFF and aerobatic flight. For hard precision 3D, HH (heading lock) is usually better (people have debated this both ways). For doing straight up 3D, you want to tail to be as solid as possible and not allowed to drift.

  • LOVE THAT MUSIC BRO. Oh and the flying. I didnt hear you hit the idle up on take off

  • @birdmanbl - Thanks for the comment. I hit the IU just before lift off.

  • @CrazyHeliDude

Great set of videos. I am hoping that I will be able to hover in a matter of months, let alone fly it like you manage to LOL

  • @Bloodaxe02 - Hang in there, you will get there :)

  • Nice Video and a nice Flight. Greets from Germany. First i learned on this Heli was how to repair it;) Now i can hover without any crash;) Next will be Forward Flight ^^

Great Heli to learn i think.

  • @RealBraindog - Sounds like you are progressing very well then :) Thanks for the comment and good luck with all your heli learning. Happy flying!

  • do you need landing gear for a beginner flier

  • @icemom01 - If you're flying a CP for the first time it would be a very good idea. Ditch the training gear as soon as you learn how to hover.

  • nice flying!

  • sorry for the duplicate post there it looked as if the first post had not gone through

  • Nice Video. Inspires me to want to get to know how to fly my Blade SR. Up till now all I do is hover and crash with it . Thing is that I am really good with the MSR and have spent a lot of hours on the G-5 sim. Just got to make that transition from fixed pitch into collective pitch I guess. Keep up the good work with all of the high quality heli videos.

  • @helibladerunner74 - How long have you been been flying your mSR and G-5? How are you coming along with the SR?

  • @CrazyHeliDude bout three months now

    SR is coming slow

  • Nice Flying. Your video inspires me to really want to learn to fly my blade SR. Up till now all I do is hover a short bit and loose it and crash. I am very good with the MSR and have spent a lot of time on the G-5 sim but for some reason flying the SR eludes me. After watching this video - I am going to stick with it and make it happen. Thanks for all of your great videos you post.

  • Ok about time we get to see you rip it up a bit. I love that music! Good job on this one.

  • Nice flying. I've heard the ducks are planning an attack... Beware.

  • @catfishmudflap Lol. Like some RC planes get attacked by eagles (do youtube search) my helis will end up getting attacked by ducks :\

  • Hey I heard that the only mane difference between the blade cp and the sr is the blades. Is that true?

  • nice

what is the name of the music ? :]

  • @endlent - It's Vangelis. Closing titles from the movie 'The Bounty'

  • @bloodblade100 - That's it.

  • you should have hovered over by that sports bike so the owners blood pressure would go up.

  • Good job!

  • @zippo19700 - Thanks for the comment :)

  • That was a well-trimmed heli..best I've seen yet

  • Yeah, making flying look like so much fun! Great flying and filming!

  • Very nice man.
