this is so advanced? i'm confused? why would i care if there is oil on the top of the valve cover?? why would i even need to clean the cover at all, other than the edge that seats on the rubber seal? won't more oil just get on that cover area after i say.....fill it with oil and drive it around at high speed and pressure?? jokes...
For all the people who make fun of responsibly cleaning up harmful chemicals: I suggest you do us all a favor and take a nice long drink of antifreeze. Why do you idiots think there is such a huge rise in birth defects?
You know, the guy is tryin to show you a little something here that if you knew what you were doing you wouldn't be watchin this video anyhow! LOOK AT THESE COMMENTS! NO WONDER THE WORLD SUCKS !

hello i have a 1991 chevy lumina euro and my pcv fell into my valve cover my question is can this cause any damage to my lumina and can you show a video on how to replace a valve cover on a chevy lunina euro 3.1 car thanks for your time
Youd need to take the intake manifold off also to clean inside the engine. With the valve cover off all you could clean is the head. I wouldent recommend it though unless you have something to suck everything up, because if you clean it all the junk will go down deeper inside the engine.
Use synthetic oil and make sure to change it every 5,000 miles or so along with the oil filter. After a few oil changes the inside of your engine will be alot cleaner.
Another thing to try is use regular oil and substitute 1qt for ATF [automatic transmission fluid], it has a lot more detergents then motor oil and will really clean the sludge out [I wouldent run it with the 1qt of ATF + motor oil for more then 50miles]
I wouldn't say that you necessarily "have" to, but if it were me I would go ahead and change the oil out at the same time. Start that new gasket with fresh batch of oil.

yea i will try that... but do u know wat is a problem with the e-brake light.. the e-brake light is on when the e-brake is down?
stavroni 3 years ago
Id check the condition of the cables. Other then that it has to be an electrical issue.
Timothayyy 3 years ago
i was told.. it might be low on brake fliud, or a leak on master cylinder..
stavroni 3 years ago
Well check the brake fluid, takes 30seconds.
I have no idea what kind of car you have, I was speaking in general.
