@dutchbballer He's not boring too watch? If you know anything about basketball, you would recognize that the talent, the style that Tim Duncan plays was rare.

There's a chance that you will never see another Tim Duncan again in the NBA. A player that dominating the game off of pure fundamentals of the game, and took no credit for any of it. Had little media attention cause he saw himself as a basketball player rather then something more.

Boring you say? He sounds like a one of kind to me.

Its not just TD, but David Robinson, Manu and Tony; Bruce bowen and Robert Horry and all those great spurs players around TD never get any credit coz its the media (ESPN) who ignore the spurs just like how the media (CNN, Fox) ignores Ron Paul. The media is no longer about reporting true stories, its become a business where there is no place for ethics.

My favorite story on Tim Duncan's humble career was this:

After winning his second title in beating the Nets in 2003, where he almost had a quadruple-double, made a prime Kenyon Martin look like an idiot, and considered by many as one of the best finals performances of all time, the interviewer asked this:

Interviewer: So, you almost had a quadruple-double. What do you think of that?

Tim: Really? I didn't know that. Cool.

And then he proceeds to the next question. That's class.

Tim Duncan is still great, The spurs now need a new rookie like Tim duncan once was. Tim- Me Duncan would be to the rookie like David Robinson once was to Tim. Diuncan when he was a rookie. I would love to see a relationship like this and another Champtionship before he retires !I just starting watching basketball and if this was to happen again it would make my heart feel good!

@ihatewonders well it goes both ways coz lebron and kobe couldn't guard tim duncan or shaq if they posted them up every time. plus shaq and especially duncan have some ball handling skills, he has run the break for the spurs countless times and from 2003-2008 is the focal point of the offense and calls plays from the post.

but yeah basketball ain't one on one. but all im saying td can win over lebron or kobe. plus kobe even said he learned some post moves and the bank shot from timmy.

@Fglahnable Say that when Dirk plays on both ends of the court like TD; Dirk is a great scorer and probably the best clutch shot maker of his generation, but Tim Duncan is the Bill Russel of his generation; TD played stellar defense, not just man-to-man but also help defense whereas Dirk is at best an average help defender.

Hakeem, Kareem, Shaq and Tim Duncan are the only big men to anchor both the offense and defense of their team and at the same time improve their teamates, no wonder Top 10
