Autologous stem cell transplantation is a procedure by which blood-forming stem cells are removed, and later injected back into the patient. All stem cells are taken from the patient themselves and cultured for later injection. In the case of a bone marrow transplant, the HSC are typically removed from the Pelvis through a large needle that can reach into the bone. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
Dr. Hemangi of Noble continues: “These are early days and certainly all evidence that the combination of liberation and stem cell therapies working together at this point is anecdotal. However I am not aware of other medical facilities in the world that offer the synthesis of both to MS patients on an approved basis and it is indeed a rare opportunity for MS patients to take advantage of a treatment that is quite possibly unique in the world”. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
With regard to MS patients, “We are cautious, but nevertheless excited by what patients are telling us. Suffice to say that the few patients who have had the therapy through us are noticing recovery of neuro deficits beyond what the venous angioplasty alone should account for”. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
Dr.Avneesh Gupte, the Neurosurgeon at Noble Hospital performing the procedure has been encouraged by results in Cerebral Palsy patients as well. “We are fortunate to be able to offer the treatment because not every hospital is able to perform these types of transplants. You must have the specialized medical equipment and specially trained doctors and nurses”. A universal benefit reported by every patient has been the recovery of bladder control. Most MS patients have various bladder control symptoms that include urinary urgency, incontinence, nocturia, or urinary hesitancy as a result of the disruption of electrical impulses from the brain to the nerves and muscles that are involved in emptying the bladder (pudenal nerve, urethral sphincter, detrusor muscle). Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
A group of Canadian patients just back from Noble have reported similar results. “I can actually see what I thought were long-dead muscles forming in my feet” said Larry Vermeersch of Kenora, Ontario. “My balance is back and I’m walking without a cane. I’m a pretty hard guy to convince, but getting these two procedures together has made me a believer. I’m looking forward to the physio ahead because I can feel everything coming back.” Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
“I feel I am completely cured” says Ms. Gianopoulos, “my symptoms have disappeared and I have a recovery of many functions, notably my balance and my muscle strength is all coming (back). Even after six months, I feel like there are good changes happening almost every day. Before, my biggest fear was that the changes wouldn’t (hold). I don’t even worry about having a relapse anymore”. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.
After 6 months of offering stem cell therapy in combination with the venous angioplasty liberation procedure, patients of CCSVI Clinic have reported excellent health outcomes. Ms. Kasma Gianopoulos of Athens Greece, who was diagnosed with the Relapsing/Remitting form of MS in 1997 called the combination of treatments a “cure”. Well I had the liberation treatment in Bulgaria in June and it is the best thing I could have done! I have SPMS and it took away my fatigue,my eye sight is better, i can swallow much better, think better. I can enjoy a whole day of activity with out having to take naps or lie down most of the day! I am taking physico to improve my mobility and as I work to the edges my ability my ability is expanding!
@zenus45 I am going to be liberated next week! To bad i have to go to another continent to achive this , BUT I did have conversation with Health Ministe for about an hour and it was the same old same, same old story "So sad .too bad we are not going to do it" so I shook her hand and thanked her for talking to me and told her the rules have to change and we are not finished with this

@CCSVIVictory every time I sing this song , I 'm kind of peaved off as I'm singing it but feels good just to sing it and let go of my frustration ! i so hope we can bring this treatment to all 2.5 million people in this world!
@CCSVIVictory That is cool, i made up the song just out the blue...those thoughts were in my mind and the whole song eas created almost in instant. i scribbled it down the fisrt thing that morning and when I sang it, I did't have arrangement made or was really sure of the words , i just played! and it worked , one take that was it. I can tell you it comes from the heart. From me but for every MSer!
the CBC asked my permission to use the song, and of course i said yes. I'm sure I'll be getting a call from Simon soon LOL Well considering it was a one take shooting and i kind of made up as I went along, and I have never sang and played the gitar in puplic before., it's not too bad This is for 2.5 million people, and I mean and feel every word of it. Hope it can help our cause! It felt good singing it! :-)
Maxine, I just love this song!! Great job. Number one!! On the MS chart for sure!! You should be like the guy who had the "Pants on the ground" song. Talk about exposure!! Sing this on your CBC interview!! Or call Simon from Am.Idle!!
LOL go Max go you are so right it's all bout filling their dam prescriptions. OMG look at the money drug company's would lose if they fixed everyone.... then what ever would they do with their drugs??? Try and find another outlet to prescribe them too!
THE PROBLEM THAT IS NOT small is the fact that this new way of looking at our disease is doable and needs to be dealt with NOW and not dismissed by the powers- that- be who must make a paradigm shift. We, the most vulnerable, must stand up and force the unwilling powers to make this shift. Scanning for CCSVI should be standard.I AM SHOCKED that this procedure is being performed in Canada but not for us who have MS.
good job :) I'm down here in the us waiting for a roadblock. gonna get tested i hope . .but who knows what will stand in my way. check out my channel, I have link to 10's of ccsvi sites and links around the world. p.s I am decended from PEI.
Great job, Maxine. The sooner we have this test and treatment option available for Nova Scotians the sooner we can feel better. This reliance on drug companies for hope for a better tomorrow sucks. I am with you 100%

To have our lives back in a short and SAFE surgical procedure instead of years and billions of dollars worth of pharmaceuticals.
Oh, know I see the roadblock.
