It's quite an achievement to rip off Baby One More Time so comprehensively and not get their arses sued off them. It's equally impressive how the director managed to pack in so many early 2000s music video cliches in the space of 3 and a half minutes. If aliens ever landed and wanted to know the ins and outs of the sub-Britney UK pop landscape circa "Y2K", just show them this video.

I'm guessing that they were heavily influenced by Britney's "baby one more time". Or on the other hand you could say that it's a cheap shit rip off of an established multi million selling song. Even the dance moves are ripped off and these moody little close ups to camera are fucking boring. It's horrible.

@oldskoolmacboy Agreed! It's a rip off with a capital R!!! It's sad that some writers and producers (and label folks) just don't get how lame it is to rip off other songs. I've hated this track since I heard it the first time, it's not only a lame wanna-be-britney song.. it doesn't cut it.. I mean, they could've pulled it off with a killer chorus.

Today is the second time I hear it.. and I can truly say I just confirmed that my initial feeling about this song some 10 years ago was right.. ;)

I want musicians to play from their fucking heart, I don't want some corporate cunt churning out endless repetitive money making shite fronted by genetically modified superhumans that have been tweaked with autotune and enhanced with after effects.
