I embarrassingly never heard of Woods Of Ypres before the death of David. But now that I have I've fallen in love with his music. He was such a gifted musician, with great lyrics, great guitar work and great voice screams and clean. He was also a multi-instrumentalist. David was taken to early. But he is up there created art with Dio, Dime Bag, Cliff Burton, Peter Steele, and Chuck Schuldiner.

I live there, it's actually the name of the street here in Windsor the vocalist/composer lives on. Ypres itself is a district in Belgium however
