  • Ann Marie is an amazing girl - huge grasp of the vernacular re. trad Irish idiom - she used to teach bodhran at Hibernia in Bristol - multi instrumentalist and what a powerful authoritative melodic rich voice - as others posted ..no-one has ever done a better version than this - Fling are supposed to be Dutch, surely their grandmudders are from Connemara, they are 'pure drop' gan dabhat -

    Donal

  • I saw this band yesterday when I volunteered at Keltfest. Her voice in even more amazing live, and they're real sweet and funny people.

  • Sorry for sending the same message twice!

  • One of my favourite Yeats' poems, and such a different version from anything I've heard before. I absolutely love it. What a fantastic voice!

  • I've collected about twenty versions of this great song, and this is one of the best I've heard. It brings something lovely to the tune I've not heard before.

    Great job.

  • This is by far the best version of yeat's poem I have ever heard. Streets ahead of C Moore, Judy Collins etc

Do they ever come to Ireland?
