  • Impressive as usually Chris! Nice workshop and tool collection as many other people already said.. =)

  • Nice work.

  • I like TOOLs and Workshop You have *****

  • @sofabike Thanks, nothing special, only a few tools in a little workshop...

  • Another great video. Makes me want to go out and find a good used lathe. Now if I can only make the room for one!

  • you could try electric transmission to the rear wheel instead

  • @DanFrederiksen Maybe in the next projects. Alternator-Battery-Motor, and regenerative braking to get the lost "brake"-energy back.

  • As always, another nice video.

  • you make doing things like that so easy. i know if i tried to do that ill mess it up. im still impressed with your work. :)

  • @def215 Well, it's not difficult! Try it...

  • You have good tools, you could tinker

  • @Lechoslowianin I'll do that! :o)

  • @ElectricCarVideos In Poland there is no problem with the purchase of tools from different companies but you have to have room to store them.

  • Outside the window the winter and you are not idle.

  • @Lechoslowianin It isn't winter, Ok not really, we've got no snow!

Also I can drive daily in the sunny south of Luxembourg... :o)

  • It is so awesome to see how you make things. Please make more of this kind of videos

  • @nattsurfaren Ok, I try! But you must understand that it be extremely time-consuming!

The pulley creation need 1hour, the final movie cut about 10hours...

  • @ChrisLuxembourg

I understand. Hopefully it gets less and less time consuming. I know for myself how time consuming it is to make 3d animation for example. I had to fiddle with the software for 4-5 hours just to make a character walk from one place to another. The software is lagging and bites me back sometimes.

  • Felicitaciones, son muy instructivos tus vídeos. saludos de Chile.

  • @chispaaron Gracias, muchos saludos!

  • HEY CHRIS, THANKS FOR POSTING THIS. I HAVE BEEN USING INLINE SKATE WHEELS FOR MY PULLEYS. I AM ALMOST FINNISHED WITH A NEW BIKE FRAME AND WAS THINKING ABOUT A BETTER PULLEY. YOU POSTED THIS AT A PERFECT TIME.ARE YOU USING ABS PLASTIC AND WHERE CAN I GET IT ? GREAT VIDEO, I ALWAYS LEARN SOMETHING FROM YOU. :-)

  • @battlestroke7 I know a lot of persons who ride the skate wheel pulleys.

But I don't know the quality of this plastic wheels. Ok, I've got all machines in my shop and I decided to create my own high quality pulleys made of SUSTAMID(POLYAMID). You can get this plastic from an industrial shop in the web.

  • The O-Ring idea is brilliant ! I take it that it is used for noise reduction and possibly for center tracking the chain too ?

Was the pulley material carbon fibre ?

  • @mrnewagemotor También encuentro genial la idea del Oring,

  • @chispaaron "Mrnewagemotor" no hablo español.....

  • @mrnewagemotor 0:30 SUSTAMID TYPE 6G it's polyamid!

The O-ring is only a silencer, to center the both flanks.

  • nice :]
