Organise FIRST. Label the totes "keep", "donate" "throw out". (Get some BIG totes LOL) and just START in one corner. Give yourself a small area to begin with, to complete, so it isnt as overwhelming. Maybe if you have very expensive items, you could add in a tote for things you could put on consignment, to make a few bucks back! Good luck. I am a shoe, makeup clothes whore, I understand LOL

Ok, I thought I was bad.... I threw out 8 big rubbish bags of clothes recently, gave them to my friend first, then to 'good will'...pretty much you have to make the decision to throw it out. It's an actual condition...I come from a family of hoarders...we cleaned out my grandads house when he died and there were 8 skip bins worth of shit. a skip is like a truck load .

You just hav to get someone to help u, & throw out everything you havnt worn in the last 12 months. even if it's new.

My idea is that you should pack everything by type of clothing, a box with dresses, a box with jackets, box for underwear, a box for shoes, box for bathroom stuff, box for makeup stuff, box for bags and so on, with names written on the of course.
