It's very tough to have a family member suffer with an addiction, mental illness, or alcoholism. My family was organized around my mother's mental illness. To his credit my father never abandoned my mother. My mother is ninety three and now has dementia. She is very sweet and childlike. Not the paranoid she was.

I hope Mr. Douglas gets the family support he needs and can salvage his life. He must have broken his father's heart. An "oscar" must seem pretty useless. Get rid of the girlfriend.

I would take the average person about six months to progress to the top level of the class, but you would have to work your ass off. I went to private school this kid in Provo Utah, at provo canyon school with this kid and i have to say, that it suck how rich people think that the rules dont apply to them. he ended up getting sent to Provo Canyon right about the time that he got arrested in 96, it was basicly a school that kids with behavioral problems or familly problems got sent to. there were certain stages of the program that you had to go through to progess.
