Better than a holster only for a small gun or you can buy the corvert carrier for $50 witch conceales it more but $50 over &12 dollar you decide thanks
I did this last night and it is awesome. I am always uncomfortable with my carry approaches. This is the best way I have seen. It really makes it like carrying a knife. Thank you very much. Now If I could just shrink up my G27 and do this I would be in carry heaven!
Hey, just FYI, about the ammo getting jammed, we've seen that before. You can actually watch some YouTube videos about it, why it happens, and how to avoid it. As I recall, you MUST let the slide fly forward at full speed. If you find that it jams, you can force-push the slide and get the round in the chamber. This happens to other guns too.
Thank you! The Kel-Tec web site has them for 11.25 but they want almost 9 dollars in shipping. I bought on on eBay for 11.25 with 2 dollars shipping. Can't wait to attach it....talk about concealment! The .380 is the smallest round I'll carry. I have a duty weapon (Glock 22), a Glock 27, and the LCP. I carry the 27 in a smartcarry and it's amazing, but there are times I want to carry the LCP in my waistband without the extra 1/2 inch a regular holster adds. Again...thanks for this info!
@TactiKoolStuff Once the round was in the chamber it cycled fine, but I dont leave one chambered when I carry it so when you rack the slide to load that first round it gets "hung up" quite often, I dont carry those rounds anymore
@Ryan56765 You may want to try " Buffalo Bore" Hard Cast lead flat nose. It will NOT hang up, no matter how slowly you release the slid to strip off the first round. It also has VERY impressive penetration. I also just installed the Keltec belt clip on my LCP. I found it exceedingly easy. Pushed the new pin in with my thumb, bent the bottom wing out 1/8" inserted screw, good to go. Simple ! From afar it may be viewed as a knife in your waistband BUT close up it's a gun Thxs 4 the Vid.
I think you discovered something big. My remington ammo, similar if not the same as yours, does feed the same way- sticky. I also bought some Hornady hp hxtp or some bullshit like that, 90 grain and did not come across the sticky feeding issue. those hollow points are much sleeker. hope that helps.
it looks like you're using the 102 grain remington personal protection ammo? I bought the same ones but after watching some milk jug vid I'm not sure if that was the best choice. what do you think?
good vid. quick question: I'm right handed. If I wanted to wear this in my right front pocket, I should get the left handed clip right? That way, the gun would be upside down in my right front pocket AND totally concealed. Otherwise, if one would use the right handed clip like yours and decided to put inside the right front pocket, the handle would be protruding out of the pocket. Correct? I hope I'm clear. thanks.
@nhlninetyfour Well even If you bought the left handed one the gun would still be facing barrel down so you would be better off buying the right handed one and also the gun doesnt stick out, its barely visible even in a pocket.
@Ryan56765 Thanks for the video and great information! I'm back from the pistol range after shooting my LCP with the clip installed as you detailed. Works great! Thanks again!
@Ryan56765 there is .380 to be had try cabellas. the best way is to order ahead and dont run out.It is finally on shelves in a few stores around here.
I have been trying to decide between the Ruger LCP and the Kel Tec P3 AT. And I think you just made up my mind. I really liked the belt clip option with the Kel Tec, but since it fits the LCP its a easier decision. I used to work in a gun shop, and Ruger is the ULTIMATE in customer service. Thats where I will spend my money.
You can they make ones that mount on the left, but the clip makes it to where the gun can be put inside your pants with the clip showing like a pocket knife or inside your right pocket so if you are right handed you want the clip that mounts on the right side :)
Golden sabar bullets? I know they are very rough and jagged where the folds come together. Not worth it your life. Go 90gr federal hydra-shok for the LCP.
Doesnt the clip mess with your thumb webbing when firing? Does it scratch your slide/frame?
I like the keltecs for that reason only, otherwise theyre rough and nasty.
