75% overlap on candies & translucents. Keep your gun angles square & your distance more consistant. It should cover better than that. Candies & translucents must be sprayed over a metalic base such as silver or gold.
hey i am going to spray my vette in my garage soon can you give me some tips like whats the ideal temperature to be spraying at ? and like you i am doing it in my garage but i am thinking of box fans blowwing in and 4 blowwing out any help would be appreciated i have painted shit before but never a whole car i am thinking i will practice a little on my little shitbox capri first then tackle the vette LOL
@shredder40 buy your paint local and they will tell you everything you need to know. mine was painted in january in michigan so the barn was around 90` with NO ventilation since it would have pulled in 20 degree air. the warmer the air and quicker the reactor used in paint is the faster it dries which helps prevent runs
