Check ur alternator,battery..bcuz I know the is not the starter bro....it happened to mine n I changed the alternator n then the car had died on me on the street n I changed the battery n now it starts like nothing like a champ...
@cbarro07 yes you can.. haha and i really hope your honda can beat mine.. this is totaled anyways and was a beater of mine.. $600 cant go wrong there haha bte thank you on the red neck comment :P
@cbarro07 If you want to beat MY accord, I'd hope you had something other than a d-series, unless its boosted...lmao...I can take out built z6's and y8's with no problem. I ran a cammed gsr 4 door and beat it on the highway by 4 cars, and from what I've heard, the coupes weigh more than the hatches and 4 door's... So please stop being a retard and talking shit about this guys car. If you don't/didn't like the video, the back button is there for a reason...
no not all drag racing engines are rebuilt after 1-4 runs and no unequal thermal expansion dose not occur from a straight pipe because even though as you stated exhaust comes out in pulses cold air will not make its way back up the pipe to the engine if you in fact had a burt valve and were running open headers it may happen although very unlikely its physics plain and simple leave the diagnostics to the mechanics
@AngryBassist66623 ha ha ha you have no clue what your talking about 1 engines dont need backpressure if the motor has to work to push the exhaust out its just wasteing power and 2 a straight pipe will not cause burnt valves and in turn burnt valves will not cause a cracked block the valves are in the head and theres nothing that a burnt valve can do to crack a block but i guess you better go tell tha guys drag racing with open header that they might burn their valves stupid
@MegaGuitarboss drag racing engines are designed to work with no back pressure for maximum performance... considering the are rebuilt after every 1-4 runs. Also, i have no idea what you mean by burnt valves. All i am saying is with a straight pipe on a factory tuned engine you can get cold air in the pipe because the exhaust fumes are direct and thus have spacing in between them because of the engine timming. then the cold air creates unequal thermal expansion and stress on the block.
@Nzagrean35 yeah if its a straight pipe from the CAT to the tip you're all good bro. but if its a straight pipe from the headers to the tip then its not good at all.
yeah the video doesnt justify how loud this thing actually was lol,, it was like a farting airplane haha thank god i put a muffler on it. the lack of back pressure made for some poor running
i have a hole in my resonator, starts up fine, just my acceleration is complete crap

yeah without that back pressure you can barely start the motor and you can crack the engine block because the cold air gets to the exhaust valves. :/

@AngryBassist66623 wow i didnt know about the cracking of engine block... the car got totaled so i suppose it doesnt matter anymore lol

@AngryBassist66623 That's quite funny, I have a '91 accord and it was open header for years. Made great power, and still does.

sounds like my accord i drove in a demo derby but my exhaust was cut after the front wheels, so my was a little louder
