...with Mirage 2000 and F1 we fight the Turks every day-night at the Aegean Sea in order to keep our liberation and keep Europe safe from muscleman hope Greece take the Rafael and kick some Turks ashes ...
lots of mistakes in this video. First seconds, it's not the mirage III of the french air force but a Mirage 50 from Chile air force. Them at 0:49 the comment says Rafale A and in fact it's a Mirage 4000.
Yep, the Balzac was developed by Dassault in the same time that the first prototype of the Hawker Harrier. But it was abandoned because these aircrafts have a too high fuel consumption, and the aircrat carrier we used since WWII were all long enough to allow the use of conventional take-off aircrafts.
the first ones r israeli kfirs from south africanAF,after,the "rafaleA"is in fact a mirage4000(prototype,last flew in'84),using afterburners is a f-16B orD,another raf & we see a mirageIV(60's jet,out of duty)then a balzac(vtol,60's proto),a G1(proto),an f1(exfighter,now recon)and a jaguar,decommissioned...sorry guys,this vid does not show the actual FAF,where only 1jet out of2is in flying condition(fact!).the raf has NO thrust,and the mica,though excellent,has1/3 of the range of an amraam
takeing of in the sunset at start thats a freaking f 16

What crack happy put this together. Some of those were SAAF Cheetah D's in the beginning. Then a MIRAGE 4000 (not Rafale A) and an F-16?? WTF?

@russianspacemonkey86 Correct, I don't know why there is an F-16 there! oO

First one is cheetah not kfir
taboot77 3 years ago
@eldudu74 1/3 of the range ?
last amraam 110 km
MICA : 60 km
its" not even" the half
and anyway better range is useless because :
they never use maximum range in fact
and today combat rules say visual reco on the enemi fighter before shot.
with the OSF of the rafale it's 20/30 km.
to finish MICA pown hard , a good missile isnt only range
amraam is really very good but not as good as MICA

@XavierB0126 i was wrong on the ratio...lesson learned!
however,i seriously doubt the rules of engagement imply a visual reco of the target, what then would the f22 have been built for?,or the meteor?
the only rule i know of is" first shoot first kill"...
but then, i'm no air force,so,i base my judgement on logic,not actual facts :)

@jetaddicted
Not a visual reco, but at least an identification of the threat in case of first engagement in a war.
