Season five was the best season. Hands down. I mean, so many things happened during season 5 that were so emotional! Plus, there's Glory. Best. Villain. Ever. :D
There is an intervieuw with James Marsters in which he is asked if he wants to play Spike again in a movie or next season...he answers, yes but then in the coming two years, because when it`s done in 10 years or later, he doesn`t know how to explain that a vampire has gotten older looks.......

i really have to agree. the trailer was bad. buffy was one of the best shows i've really ever watched. i still hope for a season 8, even though those chances are almost non-existent. my favorite season was season 6. and for the people who are blaming sarah, so messed up. she's and actress. she doesnt have to be tied down to one thing.

OMWF i'll give you but that's 1 episode out of 44, and while i con't to watch the show til the bitter end, i stopped caring about the characters other than Buffy and Faith after seasons 4 and 5. i loved this show in the first 3 seasons was sad to see it end as it did.

@bawxcog Whedon did a brave thing, he let his characters grow up. That's what happens when you grow up. You stop being so silly, you stop having time to clown around. You get a job, go to work, pay bills, life gets dull... I guess that's true even of a superhero. I think he captured that well. People on that show evolved & changed, not always for the better, but that's life. Season 7 had some amazing episodes: Conversations with Dead People, Storyteller & Lies My Parents Told Me are stand outs.

They said that the end of Buffy came sooner than expected (Josh Weadon was planning a season 8 and maybe even 9) so when they heard that 7 was the ending season, they had to put all of the storylines in one season. This is one of the reasons that season 7 is kinda messy, unclear and feels "not finished" to the viewers. Because it officially wasn`t finished to cast and crew either.

There was even talk of Xander playing Gloria's human counterpart in season five! That would have meant Giles killing him off in the end.
I almost feel like he killed off all those characters in that final battle scene just to really finalize the end of Buffy.

lukeedwardmartin21, Season 8 is only in comic book form. It's not coming back on TV. So, if you want to know what happens, look for the Season 8 comics (there's currently 12 issues out so far, more on the way).

Yeah i was wondering... how come when the first uber vamp rises no-one can stop him and he kicks buffys ass until she decapitates him, then in the final episoe everyones killing ubervamps left right and centre including giles :S was the 1st ubervamp like the leader or strongest 1?? lol always confused me x

ahh i think its coz The first wants it 2 stay open to release the uber vamps... but they wernt going to get very far in the daylight unless they escaped into the sewers, i wonder if any survived ...? x

the first wanted it to stay open but it never opened. then a couple drops from the hand and boom its open forever. they should have just demolished the school and let the vamps walk into the light and die

nah that wouldnt of worked coz the seal was in the basement of the school theyd have to have a nuclear bomb or somthing lol especialy to get past the magic of the first and the hell-mouth ect. also slayer nd potential bloodis probably better and more powerful so the seal opens for longer coz of that x

yeh bcoz its a trailer for a virtual season. So the clips from heroes and the covenant r all meant to b there as they are new characters I added in Buffy season 8 played by those actors.

Nope afraid not! :( This trailer is just based on the idea of what is going on in the comic version. There is however going to be a two part television movie thing called Ripper about Giles but not really sure on the details. Google it and u might find more.

lukeedwardmartin21, Season 8 is only in comic book form. It's not coming back on TV. So, if you want to know what happens, look for the Season 8 comics (there's currently 12 issues out so far, more on the way).
