  • My respects to you Hal Moore

  • Sounds like General Moore has read the Art Of War.

Wouldn't surprise me if he had,he's a smart man who looks for every advantage on the battlefield and the art of war gives many clues on how to be victorious in battle.

I'd like to meet the man.

  • i would take his advise anyday. great leader!

  • gary owen ,,,,,sir

  • its colonel moore

  • I was there on 69, and it would have been an honor and a privilege to be led by a commander as General Moore. Thank you for your service, Sir!

  • Well, it honestly doesn't matter what you think about our being in Vietnam. We had lots of men go over there and fight, and many died. Regardless of what you think, they did a job their country told them to, as opposed to running like a hippy douche.

All of our veterans are bad ass people!~

  • your fucking ignorant. vietnam was a pointless conflict that we as a country gained nothing from. what were we fighting for? im not trying to disrespect and vets but people like you who just run their braindead mouths need to get informed. hippies saw that vietnam was a bad decision so they were trying to stop the pointless deaths of fathers, brothers, husbands and sons.

so fuck you, and pull the dick out of your ass faggot

  • well actually we were fighting to stop the spread of communism into south viet from north viet and In a way yes it was pointless I myself am angered at the loss of so many and nothing to show for it but bravery and bloodshed. Now to the hippie part !you had hippies that supported the troops and wanted them home safe and sound and you had radical hippies that stood at airports and spat on the servicemen as they returned home and i say fuck em to hell

  • @extyelerex

Pointless? Tell that to the thousands that were liquidated after we left. Tell that to the wives and families of MIAs and KIAs. Tell them their sons and husbands died because it was pointless. Tell that to their faces, I bet you don't walk away without a black eye and a broken jaw. Better yet, why don't you tell a POW that it was pointless. They're all a bunch of old guys now, but I bet they can still kick your ass.

  • @Hnelson469 youre a fucking idiot! none of the soilders knew what they were even fighting for! youd better actually research something thuroughly before you try to talk shit to me fuckin numb nuts

  • @extyelerex

No, I think you're the fucking idiot. You don't know shit, kid. Reading leftist biased history books doesn't help with the research, fucktard. Talking with the guys that were there tells alot more than your "research". Soooo... STFU and sit down, kid!

  • Amen to that !

  • we went we fought, and died what more do you want from a soldier..

  • We want you to come home i know passing on the field of combat is the most honorable death of all but really need u to come back alive

  • this man led about 390 soldiers into battle against 3 battalions of northern vietnames army regular aprox more than 1000 troops

killing most of them respect for lt general moore!

  • ...and first of all know the cause of your fight, never trust to politicians...

  • waddever mel gibson on the wall no true hero

wants to rember let it be usa lost

  • It was never a war. It was a police action. If it was a war we would have invaded the north.

It was a corporate action for profit.

  • true that, he knows wat hes talking about.

  • Lieutenant General Moore is a American Badass, and I'm not talking about your Steve McQueen's, your Hulk Hogan's, this guy is the real TRUTH. Guys like him made America what it is today, period.

  • Absolutely agree! ... When you see WWII veterans tearing up at Memorial Day parades, those are the real men in this nation. Nothing but respect & thanks to them.

  • Hey, the men who fought in vietnam saw just as much as they would have in world war II, they all deserve to thanked and respected they all kept the fight out of our country be thankful man that u didn't hav to go through half the stuff they did every Veteran of every war deserves thanks and respect.

  • Agree also, too bad the whole vietnam experience was to no positive end

  • My father served under Lieutenant General Moore in the Battle of the Ia Drang. My dad told me that he has never seen a battlefield commander with such calm and poise under pressure.

  • @CW2Austin lol I wouldnt agree with you 100% but I do like where your coming from. America today is fucked sooner or later... :P

  • @CW2Austin No, Hal Moore made America what it was YESTERYEAR! I wouldn't attribute this screwed up state this nation is in to Hal Moore. But you're right! He is a truly humble and incredible man and combat leader!
