  • Father Matthew, do the animals join the humans in heaven?

  • Just for understanding sake, do the animals join you in heaven?

  • @NormanMinetaTestimon Thanks for asking. Yes, the little fury creatures join humans in heaven. Of course if the animals are bad, they go to hell. Now is it possible for the pets to go to heaven and the owner(human) to go to hell? Well, tough questions like that are why Father Matthew is here.

  • @cropdusterfull I don't think Father Matthew answers the tough questions. If your question is within his circle (his faith) , then he's an expert.

  • cosa state facendo????

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • what?

  • Did you hear the one about the trinitarian atheist who said that God is Dead. Dead. Dead.

  • The word catholic means universal. The Roman Catholic Church is just one branch of the Universal Church. Protestant (from the word to protest) share in the universal Christian doctrine, Christ has died, Christ has risen, Christ will come again; and also that Jesus the Christ was both human and divine; and that there is only one God and we identify three essences of the one God and we call it Trinity.

  • @revsalles yes ok but the apostolic succession is broken ,after the rites of consecration of Edward VI , abosolutely null and utterly void , your " holy orders " are no valid at all , neither your priests and bishops are real ones , none of your sacraments are valid and the presence of Christ is does not exist in your eucharist , just plain wine and bread

  • .

Remember Christians, the will of God is no Catholic, Protestant,Orthodox, Penticostal, Adventist, JW, Etc. NO DIVISION, Only Christians, holy, helping and sharing instead of buying and selling.

"That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." (John 17:9-21)

  • This one is my favorite of the Fr. Matthew videos. What a great parish!

  • actually.... catholics immitate anglicans since 1960's

  • The Episcopal Church does not imitate anyone. We are Anglican catholics. We reject the Papal authority, priests can marry, woman are priests and bishops. We differ from Roman Catholics in many, many ways.

  • You aren't catholics at all, you are a protestant sect.

  • No denomination owns anything but it's own prejudices.

  • LOL, I believe he belongs to the ages, and to believers in all denominations. What an amazing man he was!

  • Thank heavens for the Anglican Church and that not all Christians are fundamentalists.

  • Why bless animals? They are our companions and in The Episcopal Church we have a long tradition of blessing the animals.

  • I respect Lutherans, Episcopalians, and Orthodox. They are within the larger Catholic Tradition. If I was not Roman I would belong to one of these churches.

  • @901cleo Of course! You are Catholics with out the pope, you take the example of Francis of Assisi!

  • @901cleo "The Episcopal Church we have a long tradition of blessing the animals."

That's like saying the Episcopal "church" has a long tradition of blessing same-sex marriages.

"To Be Deep In History, Is To Cease To Be A Protestant"-Blessed Cardinal John Henry Newman

  • Fr. Matthew ROCKS! St.Paul's should do an instructional video for the rest of us Episcopalians who pride themselves as the 'frozen chosen'. Good Job!

  • I like Ice - Cream I am a frozen chosen!!!!!

  • I liked the processional--good job and nice promo for St Pauls!

  • why not, they were created by God, animals help us in many way from comfort to guiding the blind, to rescue to catching drug traffic, the animals are all special as each living creature is born for a purpose.

  • why's there a need to bless animals? sorry, i didnt understand- could somebody explain?

  • I think that in most Episcopal churches there is is a yearly feast day on which to bless the animals.

  • Tell Melanie, Nice Goats!

  • I knew you would juggle at some point!

Looks like you had a GREAT St. Francis festival - I am going to share this with Father Jim!
