The lights are represented by lines going from a circle on the digital screen. Kinda like how a small child would draw a sun.

What is that part what reconises the movement of ball?

the blue bricks are rotation sensors from Lego. They recognise the movement of ball.

The software in the NXT brick(written in NXT-G) compute the new coordinates of the arrow.
