Hey do you mind telling us what tires you running on your 4Tec in this videos..My 3.3 4Tec goes thru tires like nothing else ..lol..the only tires that can handle the abuse a little more are foam tires.Thanks

you need a bigger space to run that 4tec, is doing great but... i think it has more potencial than what actually your showing in the video, after the second gear kiks in let the full throttle go for another 5 to 7 seconds and you'll see is awesome , another think is that if you make holes in the windshield (body) it helps a lot to cool down the motor head and you'll gain more power

y use 3 turns and a half (high speed iddle) make more videos... have fun... nice vids...

Thanks. this place i run it at is really long but i was having issuse with my spektrum dx3 radio and range. if you notice in this video my windsheld is cut out and so is my rear window so it has nice air flow.

I like to run my cars more rich then lean. engine last longer. Ill try to make more vids but i currently have this engine on my tmaxx.

It is a must to use dual rate steering. When you are going fast it is very easy to lose control with the sensitive steering.

dude, get a interference guard, i had my Nitro 4 tec 3.3 run away on me coz of some strange frequency interfered with the throttle servo and pulled it wide open and it crashed about half a mile down the road, destroyed the stering servo, front wheels and exhaust pipe, so its a good investment to block any unwanted frequencys from taking over your car.

I just got afew alloy parts for her but they dont make to many upgrades for it anymore.

I put my spektrum dx2 on her for better range and responce. yea the revo looks sweet!! that plow would look cool as hell on her! not a bad idea for my soon to be done tmaxx!lol!

haha!! were alike but different.. i broke my jato(ripped rearend completely off doing 55).. and my 4tec hasnt been ran yet(break in tomorrow).. becareful with your jato dont waste your money on tires. traxxas will support you and send u a few sets before you have to buy them yourself.. ive wasted alot of money on stupid tires and rims(its a tire eater seriously).. just a tip pal.. i beat the hell out of my jato but i clean it every time im done playing cuz its my baby

lol! yeah that is funny! same with the 4tec on the tire side. they eat up tires like crazy! and foam tires only last half a gallon if even that! yeah i called traxxas about my tires when i got my jato they had flat spots so they sent me new ones! and the flat spots went away after afew days of letting jato sit on a stand. but thanks for looking out!

kool kool yea traxxas usually supports you pretty well.. ive gotten about.. 12 tires from them already. but i pertend im 2 different people lol. i got 4 front tires and 4 rear tires baged up plus i have rustler tires that are new. i also have proline 30 series that havent been touched. plus the tires ive ripped inhalf. ive heard you can boil the rims w/ the glued tires and that eats the glue off and you can take the shot tire off later. its a tip and it works well.. i plan on buying bead locks!

wow 12 tires! im gonna try it again!! yeah i also have the proline 30's for the jato brand new with the road rage tires. i have a profile on traxxas dot com forum under the same user name and i have some pics of my 4tec and jato on there. right now im also turning my emaxx into a 3.3 tmaxx! its about 99% finished. i just need the clutch bell to come in the mail from ebay. i cant wait to rip the maxx with a 3.3.
