wow i missed this show. I've been watching it on sci-fi at 1am. it reminds me of when tv and movies had dialog, in combination with action. i just saw the episode where Ritchie dies. i didn't see it back in the 90's, never knew Duncan killed him. i noticed some of my favorite episodes, were directed by Adrian Paul.

The sad part is, when it went off the air, it was in High Demand a year later but they chose not to bring it back. Same thing happened with Family guy, it lost interest and like a year later it came back on the air. I wish Highlander would never end. Connor and Duncan Forever!!!

I miss watching this show. I watched it everyday, weekly, at 7:00 am on channel 29. I did notice that the actor, Adrian Paul, seemed a little emotional at the beginning, and that showed that he himself would probably miss being on that show and interacting with the friends he's made over the course of filming this great Highlander series. I would to if I were him. I'll bet he'll cherish the memories of being on the show for the rest of his life.

As is, I do ignore the sixth season, for a few episodes, including the flashback one with Fitz (not the finale) and the Methos-Joe show.

I didn't think the 6th season was *that* bad, tho imo they could have ended after the series with Armageddon in a much better finale. I did like a few of the season 6 episodes but mostly it was so scattered as to be unsatisfying. And the actual finale imo could have been cut to one episode, removing the 'what if' part entirely, It had a good story up until that point

Anyway, I loved your vid as well :) The fan clips/vids are a lot of fun to see.

All the test raven shows sucked in season 6. Only about 4 or so good shows that season. A methos spin off may have worked.

If you forget the episode with where Richie dies (think of it as the season in Dallas that everyone wants to forget) Richie would have been the one to choose. Stan Kirtch was more believible tham Gracen or Wiggnefield with the sword.

Absolutley true. And the series had a budget, they really went to Paris to shoot. They didn't built a fake set like these days. And the costumes were great. Though the 1st season sucked, the other 5 was awesome. Great characters, good stories. All time favorite. :)

This is kinda sad, cause it just goes to show that having eternal life would not be the cool thing everyone would think, but perhaps one of the most horrific tortures that could ever befall a human being. You'd have to go through the genrations seeing everyone you care about die, atrocities of war, and many other things. In the end you'd probably just want to cut your own head off to end the misery.

Masterful work. I've never seen anything else capture the pure essence of what Highlander is more than this. Every series finale should end with a montage as good as this one. It's only too bad that the filmmakers of "Highlander: The Source" completely forgot what the series was all about. Much cooler than the other 2. What I like most is that you showed all the key characters, except Duncan's Doctor girlfriend, but thats ok. My only complaint is that I wish the sound were louder, my speakers are maxed out and it is still very low. I never understood why they didn't originally put Connor in the montage, he was the most influential immortal in Duncan's life.
