I am surprise you havent been hired a special effect specialist. With this setup you can "air raid" anything. Get another buddy who can fly and shoot and you can have your very own WWII style "dog fight" (combat method not animals)

At 3:35 on the video play bar is a good still of the rocket leaving. I love this video man ive been designing a setup myself for a rocket launcher but cant seem to figure it out. What do you use for a firing system because i just cant seem to figure it out. I work at a fireworks stand for the fourth of July season and have all the Ordnance I need but have no idea how to fire any of it. lol

@crazycroatian05 I built a custom circuit that closes a relay and connects an estes rocket igniter to the battery when I flip a switch on my controller. An easy way to do it is to use an DC motor speed controller that you can get at any RC store. Just connect it to the rocket igniter.

Also the slo-mo version is awesome because it looks and sounds more like the real deal.

Next time around, you need to stage some R/C pyrotechnics on the ground so it looks like it's blowing stuff up with the mini-zunis. The flying through the regular fireworks as "SAMS" adn "flak" was cool though.

@sjeses get a 3 channel plane, a, i dunno how much channel but a 4 channel with flaps rotary knob,

use the rudder as left and right for the cam, and use the rotary knob as up and dow movement of the cam :-)

Its probably a grounding issue. You can solve it by having an active ground and an inactive ground which meet only at the battery

Are you using headtracking or the left stick to turn the camera. Nice work! This is the most entertaining fpv vid I've seen. If you have a sec could you run down your equipment (e.g., 2.4ghz vs 900mhz)?

I'm using the left stick, since the EasyStar is rudder only (rudder control is on the aileron channel). I have a head tracker but I find it uncomfortable to use.

Nice toy. How much it cost? I wish i was related to you. You would of aim air bomb rockets at the flying plane. air bombs are not soo powerful compare to artillery shells. Plus you would get a brick and some rocks and place them on a bottle for a 70 degree angle and place the recoil. I tried today place some M-800 on a B-3 bomber. It failed. But im working on it :) Too bad I cant post videos. Great video by the way.

I can't believe how much stuff you got crammed into that plane! As an R/C glider guider myself, I can truly appreciate all the work that went into this. I've been meaning to mount my wireless micro vidcam on a plane for a long time but I never thought to mount it on a servo head so it could look around - great idea! The missile launchers were cool and flying into the fireworks was awesome. 5*+ great work!

Well , this GPS blanking was really futile :) . Think next time you shoud disable them via pc , it's simple , in config tool select them and unchech "visible" .

For the "safety" crowd : think about the 800g foam plane + 5gram rockets deadly combo then at a 18 wheeler with a wasp inside cabin ! If you are concerned by safety you should ask for a law to prevent all drivers to drive with windows down , not to discourage FPV flying above personal property .
