I hope it's not too much to ask, but could you redo this video after you remove the login screen and have it boot straight into windows and then fire up a program? so we can see the boot time without the wait for typing in the login password. If you'd rather not, no worries.

Installed an OCZ vertex 2 in my 1810tz
It was well worth it. Boot up is significantly faster and batter life is better.
You need the new Intel "Rapid Storage Technology 9.6" driver to get TRIM support with the sandforce controller.

Does a SSD give better battery life than HDD on the same machine?
What are other good things about SSD? Is it worth the price and the lack of GB?

For me it's worth is, better performance, better batter life and much quieter.
For a notebook computer that you start and stop often cutting off more than half of the boot time is very handy.
