Guy gets hit in back of head with brick, gun stole , he's killed, bad guy robs and kills other. It's just plain dumb, get a concealed carry permit. Some people that open carry CAN NOT GET A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT! Ever wonder why? This way the cops see them LOL
@Siguror6 In pretty much any state, if you wouldn't qualify for a CC license, you can't possess a firearm in that state. But CC licenses are not available to everyone in every state. So sometimes the only legal option to carry is Open. As was the case at the time of the video. There were no CC licenses at all, at that time.
PUT YOUR WALLET IN YOUR OTHER POCKET!!!! That way, you keep your right hand(ideally the one you would be presenting the weapon with) free! I don't mean any disrespect, this is constructive criticism.
you will never be able to take any bad guns from the street ,it is inpotant to have at list a feew good ones,we created the proablem we got to deal with, 911 it doesn,t work anymore waik up people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet if you interviewed customers you would find that most people assume he is a cop. I conceal carry so they don't assume anything or know anything, just the way I like it. But cu-does to those who do OC.
@01liquidfires Point is??? Think obvious deterrence!!! Ask a criminal, who will they attack, an obviously armed individual? Or an unarmed, the answer will be the same every time. I would rather avoid the situation altogether. Your living in theory land, I live in reality. Surprise is a valuable offense, but I want to avoid it all.
its true that criminals will not attack a person that is carrying a weapon out in the open, but if all citizens where allowed to carry, the likyhood of a criminal robbing someone goes down. That doesnt mean that they wont try but it does go down. If someone saw an open carry and they still wanted to rob you, then they would just gun you down.
The human factor is always and ???, we simple just down know what someone is thinking.
@01liquidfires Exactly, so I want to first try to avoid the negative situation and not get into it in the first place. Then if I'm left with no choice in a situation I want the tool with the highest chance of survival. So my choice has been made.
@mrmotofy That's completely right. If only one person in there at that time, had been carrying all those lives would of been saved. Anti-gun zones, I think are the most un-save place to be in. If only one highly trained well minded guard could carry in every school of any kind, there wouldn't be anymore school shootings. People are always saying why do these madmen do this in schools, beacuse they know they can, because nobody in that school can take them out, its a gun free zone.
@MrWoodywoodward27 So why not allow 1 or 5 or 6 in there to carry. Let the good guys who have are willing to take a stand for life, deal with the threat while the police hide outside behind their perimeter.
@mrmotofy thats what I say. So when the madman see's 6 people with a gun, he or she will think twice or just have the open carry guys open fire before it can. They always coward out and kill themselves afterwards anyway.
I'm in illinois and our murder rate is crazy ......tones of innocent people are getting robbed and I feel that we need the open carry law hear as well it would stop a lot of violence
@DjUndying1 Yes, there was a guy who got robbed at gun point, he did have a firearm. Armed robbery happens everyday across the country? Was there a point?
@Valyn66 Your right I am concerned about myself, that's why I carry protection. Now again you go with the name calling...and again...it gets deleted!!! Wow you must really be a slow learner. I don't reject anything, I just disagree with you.
@Valyn66 Yes I did delete. Continue and you will be banned from commenting. Learn to have a respectful discussion without namecalling. All that does is show your childish actions.
@mrmotofy Banned from commenting? You mean I won't have to listen to your logically-twisted, self-indulgent, childish whinging about rights anymore?
Sign me the fuck up.
I'm thinking the insults hit a little too close to home. You should try getting at least a mile or more away from your trailer sometime; the depth of the world might surprise you.
@Valyn66 Umm news flash...your continuing to come to my space and comment...your free to turn away any time silly boy. Insults don't bother me one bit. I just consider it disrespectful, childish, and lacking any substance so I won't allow it.
I do appreciate the hint of humor in the deleted comment.
@mrmotofy P.S. this started as a respectful discussion. Then I realized what a moron you are. Okay, I can deal with morons. Then I realized you were a moron of the, "It's my right to reject yer fancy dern facts and figgers" variety.
From there on you lost my respect and the privilege of my opinions. And yes you ARE privileged to have heard them, considering your academic day probably generally consists of signing the pizza delivery receipt on the porch of your trailer.
@Valyn66 Some people just can't accept the personal choices that others make. Others opinions don't matter in my choices. It's clear some just can't accept that we are all equal. Nobody is above or more important than anyone else. It really is a shame when the thinking of some are so clouded.
@mrmotofy If this was about who or what you chose to have sex with in your private life, you'd be absolutely right. As it's about your right to own something that significantly increases my own chances of getting shot, you're completely wrong and retarded as is in your character.
@Valyn66 Umm actually your the one that's wrong. Cuz I have the Right and the choice and have made it. You don't have the Right to force your opinions or actions on me. So until you are harmed by my actions you don't have a claim to stand on. I operate in reality not in hypothetical scenarios in your head.
@mrmotofy We've already established that the only one that thinks he has a "right" to carry whatever he pleases, is you.
And as your opinion is manifestly worth less than the shit you expend creating it, it's not exactly convincing as an argument. Until I am harmed? I'm a ER physician you moron. Do you have any idea how many gunshot wounds I see and treat in a normal week? And that's in Australia no less. When I was at Harborview, the numbers in a DAY were mind-boggling.
@mrmotofy I really could let you slide if you were some dumb kid in his teens or early twenties. But by this stage in life, you ought to know better and the fact that you don't is a searing indictment of your own worth as a human being.
@mrmotofy Did you really just say something that categorically idiotic? You "know a few people" who don't have cars so that proves that the car isn't economically and socially vital in this country? Do I even need to explain how retarded that is? Sigh. Just sigh.
Question:
1. If we banned cars tomorrow, would the economy collapse? YES ding ding ding.
2. If we banned private ownership of guns tomorrow, would the same happen? Why, NO, it wouldn't.
@Valyn66 Yes...I personally know a few. There are also the millions others across the country. I bet everyone knows people that don't own cars. Furthers, they aren't vital as you say. Make sense yet? Q 1, won't happen. Q 2 won't happen. You can play "what if" all you want, but it's a waste of time.
@mrmotofy Now you're just being petulant because I called you on your nonsense. You know fully well how vital cars are. If they went away overnight, this country would grind to a halt and you know it. Guns? Nothing of the sort.
You're comparing an economic and social cornerstone of the United States with a lethal recreational toy. That's stupid and I suspect you know it even if you don't want to man up about it.
@mrmotofy My stance about cars is backed up by science and common sense. Yours, well, just isn't.
So, sorry, but I don't "agree to disagree," with something you're deliberately distorting the truth on because you're incapable of admitting being wrong.
@mrmotofy It's true, you DON'T have to agree with my hypotheticals. You may also feel free to disagree with the theory of gravity, since denying the manifestly obvious seems to be a hobby of yours.
I got tired of all of the hassling I got from open carry. My solution as stupid as it sounds is to afix an "conceal carry" badge to your holster. All of A sudden ignorant people assumed it was for law enforcement and suddenly no more problems. The panic comes in that people don't realize open carry is legal so they think you intend the worse. Sticking a badge on it suddenly makes it look official like you arnt trying to hide it. Try it, you would be surprised.
@naireland Yea put a badge on it then get charged with impersonating an officer or something. Ha no thank you. I don't have problems with the public. The video clearly shows that.
@Motofixxer nah, considering security guards everywhere have cop uniforms and badges it's of no consequence. Sticking a plainly marked CCW badge on a holster is none the worse. Walked past plenty of cops since without a hint of trouble. Some just smirk that shit eating grin of theirs at the stupidity of a ccw badge but it's not my fault people are terrified of guns.
Why doesn't this OC'er have enough common sense to relocate his wallet to his left rear pocket, so that people won't have REASON to believe that he's possibly reaching for his Open Carry Weapon?
What an idiot. This is the kind of strategic thinking that OC'ers seem to lack en masse.
@TigerGrumman The OC'er has plenty of common sense...but never had any issues, problems, misunderstandings. So no reason to change what works fine. If you choose to, then fine. But that don't mean everybody has to do things the way you do.
this is the truth, open carry is for little children, people who want to defende themselves carry it concealed... why do u want everyone to see your weapon? it's just makes people unconfortable and makes you look like an asshole.
"omg de casher is so scared.. i'm so cool, i'm walking around with a gun... i'm so cool"
@ZzRvXzZ Your entitled to your opinion, but opinions don't always equate to reality. Many times they reveal the irrational childish thoughts of the originator.
ok then, give me a solid argument explaining WHy do you want to OPEn carry a gun when you can carry it concealed...
and why did you made this video trying to show how scared people were of you, and how unconfortable people get when someone walks in mc donalds with a gun...
you gotta understand that most of people are afraid of people displaying firearms, because THEY don't know you, they don't know if you have mental disorders or you're a robber....
@ZzRvXzZ Until 4 days ago Concealing was ILLEGAL. Open Carry was the only legal option. I made the video to prove, that people aren't scared. They don't go running, like you and others say. This vid serves as proof that people don't really care most of the time. If you disagree that's fine. But I have proof!!! A news crew distantly followed me one day to see people's reactions. They couldn't see anybody even noticing. I'm all grown up, are you?
@ZzRvXzZ I will likely still Open Carry most of the time. I will conceal for certain situations and reasons. Open Carry is still a good way to educate people and start valuable conversations. If you don't like it or disagree, that's cool. But there are many who do and choose too for a variety of reasons. Carrying should be a choice of any method.
@mrmotofy Most criminals don't use holsters. They just walk around with guns however they want. Someone may just be scared of your gun because they are simply scared of guns period. It has nothing to do with who you are or what you are doing. It's one of the reasons cops get away with so much. Nobody would put up with 90% of the shit cops say if they didn't have guns.
ZzRvXzZ -why do u want everyone to see your weapon? Why? Because it's a visible deterrent think about it. Not many criminals are gonna walk up to an armed person and steal their car. Convicted criminals have been asked, which would you target first, a known armed place or individual, or an unarmed? They always answer the unarmed. They are always looking for the easy target. I carry a sign that says I'm not an easy target. This video shows, most are not afraid. That's an irrational thought
@mrmotofy See? that proves that you're a little kid, some criminals aren't scared of a little kid trying to look tough, they will just sneak behind you and shoot you in the head. Everyone around you knows that you're armed...
HAHAHAH "i'm not an easy target"
YES you are an easy target, in fact, you're in a higher level of danger than the avarage person.
you're carrying a sign saying "Hey criminals, i'm an easy target, come and sneak behind me, shoot me in the head ans teal my firearm"
@ZzRvXzZ Where are those cases where that happens then??? Where are the news stories of guys Open Carrying and getting wacked in the head??? Oh it doesn't happen there sir. Not saying it can't...it just doesn't. Again your showing irrational thinking and claiming it's reality. You can criticize all you want...but your opinion doesn't equate to reality.
ohhh.. so only because u didn't see it in the news, it means that it never happened and it's impossible to happen.... lol it's like i'm arguing with a 10 years old boy....
@ZzRvXzZ So show me at least 1 occurance...if you say that's what happens...you should be able to back it up. "JP Mitchell and Matt Brannan were dining at the Waffle House in Kennesaw, GA...when a scout for a heavily armed robbery crew came wandering in. Unbeknownst to JP and Matt, who were alert and paying attention to the "out of place" young man, their OPENLY CARRIED handguns sent the scout outside to inform the crew there were guns in the store...." Where's your evidence???
@ZzRvXzZ Dude I've been reading ur comments and actually I'd say 99% of armed robbers would avoid killing someone if they could. That means moving to a place without guns, picking on weaker victims, ect ect
They aren't going to just start shooting open carry people in the head so they can steal the $80 in their wallet, and their Iphone which they can pawn for $50. They aren't going to knowingly risk their own lives to get minimal cash...
@ZzRvXzZ Criminals are afraid of getting shot just like any other person. I've heard of many cases of criminals running away when shop keepers pull out a gun, or homeowners pull out a gun in self-defense.
Many times the criminals are armed themselves, but theres now a legal position where you can kill them but they can't kill you, most of the times they will flee!
@mrmotofy Lol to reply to that bullshit just respond by asking: would criminals try and rob a place with open carrying cops inside? Obviously that person doesn't understand that criminals are pussies and only go for victims that are weaker than them.
Uhh... Couldn't make out anything anyone said in this video because of the annoying ass music. Great job, n00b. I'm sorry you put in all that effort to make your video pointless
@mrmotofy Please tell me where to purchase a volume control that only turns down the background music so I can hear what is being said in the video. I would buy one immediately.
@mrmotofy There is nothing to hear in the video. It's a recording from a few feet away. That's why there is music, so your not sitting there listening to silence, unless you choose too.
If I carry a Firearm or even a Hunting Knife open carry either way into a Restaurant, shows that I am armed and ready for anything to go down. It is a false Image. Truth is, I am not sure of myself for I have no training with the Public and what they might say or do. Your Video shows You coming apart ,getting angry with a Stranger becouse he opened his mouth about you carrying. You lost control. Thats what I mean. You was so shook up you needed a Smoke to calm you. No control here.
@glynamus I think I understand what your trying to say. But the bottom line is...Preparedness, and a deterrent. It's a simple sign saying don't use force against me, I'm prepared and able to defend. You have home, car or life insurance in case you need it. Not because you want something to happen. You wear a seat belt to prevent further damage, not because you intend to get into an accident. You have your opinions, I respect that.
@glynamus You have your opinions, I respect that. But neither you nor anyone else have the right or authority to tell me I can't do something, when I'm not harming another. We all have innate rights that can't be taken away.
@glynamus Try Googling "shooting Mcdonalds" see how many hits you find. One of the worst shootings of all time happened at a Mcdonalds, 21 deaths and 19 injuries at a McDonald's restaurant in San Ysidro. There are many reasons to protect yourself at a restaurant. I'm not psychic and don't know where crime will present itself. Try educating yourself before you make ignorant comments and look like a fool to millions.
@mrmotofy There is no need for all that. I just ment you are not trained to handle a Firearm in a Resaurant full of People. Leave your Guns at Home Son, dont take your Guns to Town. Nobody wants to see them I assure you.
@glynamus Sorry but your assurances are inaccurate. But pardon me then, I didn't know that you knew me, my job history, my training level, my experience, or my abilities. Thanks, but I don't appreciate others forcing their beliefs on me. I take responsibility for myself. If your not comfortable carrying, then don't and you shouldn't. But please don't insist others have to follow your beliefs. I was created with the ability to defend myself.
@glynamus "bad form and poor taste. not cool taking a gun to a place to eat." Too bad the bad guys dont agree. I bet they dont leave their guns outside. Your an arrogant little guy, aren't you?
@benehan That's funny, you could die instantly in your car, thousands do everyday across the country. But yet you happily jump in there to run to the store for coffee or... You would throw a tantrum if somebody tried to outlaw your car, now wouldn't you.
@mapache11 When did I ever say how it makes me look??? Your projecting your baseless opinions on others. If you choose to conceal...so be it...I'm not you and don't think like you. You make your choices, and I will make mine. Might want to watch those public statements, courts have ruled similar statements threats and convicted people for it.
@Valyn66 I know a few people who don't have cars and there are millions across the country that don't own cars. So your statement cars being economically and socially vital is flat out false and wrong. Gotta have a better argument than that. Cars and firearms are both tools. It's a very comparable analogy. They are both the best tool for their purpose in most situations where they are needed.
@mrmotofy Furthermore, guns aren't a "Tool" in the traditional sense anymore and they haven't been for a century. They're a recreational novelty now and an absurdly dangerous one at that.
Their only reasonable application is as a means of self-defense. Which is all fine and good, in my opinion. But the current system under which any Jim Bob with with no felony convictions or previously documented episodes of mental illness can buy firearms. And then sell them at gun shows to the felons.
@Valyn66 I don't know what tool means to you, but the definition of tool hasn't changed. Firearms are a tool whether it be for recreation, self defense, or ill intent. They are nothing by themselves. They are an inanimate object used for the intent of the possessor. The only purpose they have is that of the possessor. Almost everyone I know that carries does so for self defense. Why, because they are the most efficient modern tool for the job.
@mrmotofy And of course the people who carry do so for self-defense. What I'm saying is that the current system under which anyone with an IQ roughly equivalent to that of a toaster oven, with no prior felony convictions, can purchase firearms and sell them illegally.
You're a responsible gun owner who would like to carry for self-defense? Fine, register, submit to safeguards against the unlawful sale or transfer of your weapon, and get a permit.
@Valyn66 And if they can't get a gun they will resort to a knife, or a bat or a....They will obtain and do whatever to achieve their goal of ill intent. The tool they use does not matter. I don't need no permission(permit) to purchase or possess a private item. One can kill with a club, machete or kitchen knife. Are we now going to require permission and ID for buying a kitchen knife...where does the insanity end???
@mrmotofy Where DOES the insanity end? What's wrong with you? There isn't another developed nation on the PLANET as blindly permissive about gun ownership than the United States. If there was a system in place to prevent the transfer of firearms to felons at, say, gun shows, safety would be dramatically improved. But you're opposed to even that and the reason for it is simply you're being reactionary and have convinced yourself that any and all gun control is bad. It isn't.
@Valyn66 There ain't nothing wrong with me. I just believe in freedom and responsibility. Clearly your an ignorant person that thinks the world has to agree with you. News Flash!!! It ain't gonna happen. I don't care what you think! Your entitled to your opinion, but that means nothing to me. So you can rant all you want...but you won't change anything. So don't waste your breath.
@mrmotofy Ah, I see. So as you run out of intelligent things to say, you fall back on the whole, "It's muh God-givern right as a gol'darn American dern it" arguments. And that, in and of itself, ought to prove the legitimacy of your opinions to you.
I notice you DODGE the gun show loop hole thing. You just don't want to admit that you're so blindly against gun control in general that you're even opposed to legislation stemming the tide of guns going to illegal owners through gun shows.
@Valyn66 I have the Right as a human being to defend myself, with a stick, knife, bat, rock, fist, gun, or any other tool. Rules can be made against it...but I can still pick up another. I usually choose the most efficient tool out of survival. If you choose not to, then so be it. The show "loophole" is silly. I have been to US gun shows, have you? Yes I should be able to buy property without permission. Be it a gun, knife, sword, bat, rock, etc. WTH is the difference?
@mrmotofy Fine. That's perfectly fine. Some weapons are too "efficient" to be generally available without reasonable safeguards. Hence why you can't stroll into Bob's Gunatorium and buy a fucking cruise missile.
So if you need to defend yourself, carry a knife. Or, better yet, carry a taser.
And yes, I have been to U.S. gun shows. Are you really so ignorant as to try and deny the universally-acknlowedged fact that gun shows circumvent the already-permissive gun control laws in place?
@Valyn66 I choose to carry the most efficient tool. It's my choice and I have made it. I don't want another knife or taser(which is regulated like guns here). The "loophole" is silly because you can walk up to anyone almost anywhere and buy property. It's not a "loophole". OMG can you believe there are ways around rules. I can't believe that's possible, it can't be.
@mrmotofy So you're admittedly okay with felons (one of the very, very few people excluded from gun ownership under U.S. law) purchasing firearms? I think we're done here.
You're as bad as the criminals. Disgusting.
It's the the "same as buying property" because if it were regulated (like in Australia) you CAN'T just stroll up to any random person and buy guns from them. Ah, but I forget you're in favor of criminals owning guns. You'd let people die for your little hobby.
@Valyn66 Having a felony conviction does not mean you should lose the ability to protect yourself. Get felony for embezzelment, lose the right to defend yourself??? Many learn the error of there ways after serving time. Change the way they make decisions. Yes they are still human beings, some have made bad decisions, some are innocent, they still have the right to protect themselves. If you disagree...fine then disagree. But you clearly can't converse without name calling and degradation.
Oh yee of tunnel vision, having a rule about possession of a specific tool. Does not stop a criminal from being a criminal. There are already plenty of rules about committing crimes. Clearly they don't stop the criminal do they??? If they commit a crime with a weapon, lockem up for life I don't care. But I don't deserve to be treated like a criminal until I commit an act harming someone. It doesn't matter if you disagree. I will still carry my choice of defense tool. Don't like it...walk away!!
@Valyn66 A slave owner...that is a new level, and completely unrelated. I never said anything about any nationality. I have the innate right to protect myself by any means. Independent and outranking ANY statutory rules or governments. That is a right that can't be taken away except by physical restraint. There is nothing more basic. I have the right to choose, and I have. Nothing you say will EVER change that.
@mrmotofy Unless the law changes. Which some day it will, because it's common sense for it too. And slavery is entirely relevant, because you base your interpretation of "rights" on the same kind of archaic legal thinking. If one were to look just to the founding fathers, slavery would still be illegal today.
You have a right to defend yourself. But as I've established again and again, there is NOTHING that enumerates exactly what you're allowed to defend yourself with. Like a flamethrower.
@Valyn66 I'm not talking about legal thinking. And slavery is illegal today. I assume you meant legal??? We have rights as human beings, that can't be taken away. Slavery is not one of them. Forcing another to do something is causing them harm= A crime. Your right...nothing enumerates what I use to defend myself. I choose for myself. That's my point! If some don't like it, so what. We are not given Rights. They supersede and exist independently of rules or governments.
@mrmotofy My point is that people centuries ago used the same kind of twisted thinking to declare owning another human being a "right." They believed it just as completely as you believe you have a right to strut around with any weapon known to man.
They were wrong. You are wrong.
Get it?
We are not given rights, hmm? Slave owners sure were convinced of their "rights." It's like arguing with a child. It's literally like trying to tell my 12 year old niece Justin Bieber is awful.
@Valyn66 I'm sure they did try and justify themselves. But they were still wrong to enslave another human being against their will. That's a crime against humanity. That's a far cry from a choice of tools to carry.
@Valyn66 No Rights aren't given. Constitution Excerpt "Equality; inherent rights. Section 1. [As amended Nov. 1982 and April 1986] All people are born equally free and independent, and have certain inherent rights; among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; to secure these rights, governments are instituted,
@mrmotofy So keep on howling about rights. Some day the law will change and after everyone settles down and quits whining, you'll see that the sky doesn't fall after all. And it might, you know, actually make us a little safer. Guns sold illegally to criminals kill more people every year than Al-Qaeda. And yet we spend trillions of dollars and thousands of lives to mitigate THAT threat.
But, man, when it comes to our deadly toys, watch out. Anyway, this is absurd. You're a silly, silly man.
@Valyn66 Millions of people will not let the "laws" change to your liking. Criminals kill people, not the guns. Guns can't do anything by themselves. They require an operator! Well at least your name calling is getting a little calmer so I will tolerate that one. Absurd? You commenting and arguing and trying to enforce your nanny state opinions, on my video. After repeatedly being told your wasting your time. Let it go man, let it go.
@mrmotofy As I said, you don't have any positions other than the, "I'm entitled to my opinion and I'm set in my ways, so you're wasting your time."
Slave owners said the same thing to the Abolitionists... those laws got changed too.
It's gonna happen soon, buddy. Are you going to cry like a little child or admit the laws bring the United States in line with the common-sense approach the rest of the world figured out decades ago.
You're deliberately downplaying the effect of all the recreational sport shooters. They're the ones flooding the market with guns. You guys like to go on and on about how only law-abiding citizens obey gun laws but that's not the point. It's a question of availability. If a felon wants to illegally obtain a weapon in the United States it's as easy as strolling into a gun show with some cash. That same felon in Australia would have to rob a military base or smuggle it in from overseas. Get it?
@Valyn66 The tools will always be available to those criminals who seek them. No rules will ever stop it. There will always be a black market!!! Look at Chicago, New York, DC or elsewhere in the world. The bans clearly don't work. Last I checked criminals still had guns in Australia. Even with all their rules against ownership. Also an island is much easier to control what enters, a large land mass...not so much.
@mrmotofy Now you're just idly insisting, "But...but...the bans don't work!!!" The bans don't work in the United States because, as I said, the guns are so readily available that buying one illegally is a fucking cake walk. You make think, "criminals still have guns in Australia" but that's spoken purely out of ignorance about gun crime in Australia. The United States has just as much control over it's borders as Australia. It should have more, considering the billions spent on Homeland Security
@Valyn66 You are indeed either a dumb fuck or a liar. Gun crime in Australia is up. For 25 years law abiding Auzzies have been without their guns and forced to be prey to armed criminals. So, which one is it. Are you fucking stupid or a fucking liar?
@Valyn66 Your ASSumptions don't equate to reality. AU is only about 3\4 the size of US, that means 1\4 less borders to control. AU is also an island which is easier to manage than the land and shorelines of US. Think about it!!! Land borders that can be crossed by smugglers, as well as by boat. Homeland Security...That's a whole different conversation
@mrmotofy OH.... right. Because illegal guns are just FLOWING across the Canadian and Mexican borders. Funny, you're the only person to notice that. And when I say that, I'm including of people like the BATF, Border Patrol, FBI, etc.
Get real. The guns used in crimes committed in the United States aren't smuggled in illegally. They're bought legally and eventually sold illegally and that's a documented fact. Sorry to burst your little bubble.
@Valyn66 And??? so tools are being used by criminals with ill intent. Gee that's not surprising. Anytime something is outlawed there will always be black market and criminals, that's a fact! Here is another one...taking away a tool will not stop the crime of the criminal. He is a criminal and doesn't care about rules and laws.
@mrmotofy And if those guns aren't as easy to obtain as strolling into a gun show, what effect do you think THAT will have on the illegal acquisition of firearms? Just wouldn't matter?
You're just being willfully dumb now. You're just parroting things you've heard. It's not about criminals following the laws, it's about them being able to skirt right around the laws by buying guns from private owners and gun shows. What's it going to take for this to sink in? For the love of Zeus.
@Valyn66 FYI, likely nothing you say will "sink in". I disagree with you on many things we have discussed. Obviously, you think I have to follow your thoughts and opinions. That ain't gonna happen, so don't bother trying. I don't really care if criminals "skirt around" a bad rule. The object they use doesn't change their acts and intent. The focus is in the wrong direction. The liability of one selling an object is wrong and irrelevant to the act the buyer uses the object for.
@Valyn66 Hey dumb ass. I have been in Australia. You can get a gun if you want one bad enough. Same in Britain as well. Why don't you take your lying ass and move to Australia since you are so big on it. Guns are available everywhere. DO YOU GET IT?
ass clowns probably called the cops on themselves to get a good video.

Siguror6 3 days ago
@Siguror6 In pretty much any state, if you wouldn't qualify for a CC license, you can't possess a firearm in that state. But CC licenses are not available to everyone in every state. So sometimes the only legal option to carry is Open. As was the case at the time of the video. There were no CC licenses at all, at that time.

@01liquidfires Point is??? Think obvious deterrence!!! Ask a criminal, who will they attack, an obviously armed individual? Or an unarmed, the answer will be the same every time. I would rather avoid the situation altogether. Your living in theory land, I live in reality. Surprise is a valuable offense, but I want to avoid it all.
mrmotofy 2 months ago
@mrmotofy
its true that criminals will not attack a person that is carrying a weapon out in the open, but if all citizens where allowed to carry, the likyhood of a criminal robbing someone goes down. That doesnt mean that they wont try but it does go down. If someone saw an open carry and they still wanted to rob you, then they would just gun you down.
The human factor is always and ???, we simple just down know what someone is thinking.
01liquidfires 2 months ago
@01liquidfires Exactly, so I want to first try to avoid the negative situation and not get into it in the first place. Then if I'm left with no choice in a situation I want the tool with the highest chance of survival. So my choice has been made.

@MrWoodywoodward27 I reference that frequently, to the one's that ask why do you need to carry in a restaurant.
mrmotofy 2 months ago
@mrmotofy That's completely right. If only one person in there at that time, had been carrying all those lives would of been saved. Anti-gun zones, I think are the most un-save place to be in. If only one highly trained well minded guard could carry in every school of any kind, there wouldn't be anymore school shootings. People are always saying why do these madmen do this in schools, beacuse they know they can, because nobody in that school can take them out, its a gun free zone.
MrWoodywoodward27 2 months ago
@MrWoodywoodward27 So why not allow 1 or 5 or 6 in there to carry. Let the good guys who have are willing to take a stand for life, deal with the threat while the police hide outside behind their perimeter.
mrmotofy 2 months ago
@mrmotofy thats what I say. So when the madman see's 6 people with a gun, he or she will think twice or just have the open carry guys open fire before it can. They always coward out and kill themselves afterwards anyway.

Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Umm actually your the one that's wrong. Cuz I have the Right and the choice and have made it. You don't have the Right to force your opinions or actions on me. mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy We've already established that the only one that thinks he has a "right" to carry whatever he pleases, is you.

Question:
1. If we banned cars tomorrow, would the economy collapse? YES ding ding ding.
2. If we banned private ownership of guns tomorrow, would the same happen? Why, NO, it wouldn't.
I can't believe you had a straight face.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Yes...I personally know a few. There are also the millions others across the country. I bet everyone knows people that don't own cars. Furthers, they aren't vital as you say. Make sense yet? Q 1, won't happen. Q 2 won't happen. You can play "what if" all you want, but it's a waste of time.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Now you're just being petulant because I called you on your nonsense. You know fully well how vital cars are. If they went away overnight, this country would grind to a halt and you know it. Guns? Nothing of the sort.

@Motofixxer nah, considering security guards everywhere have cop uniforms and badges it's of no consequence. Sticking a plainly marked CCW badge on a holster is none the worse. and why did you made this video trying to show how scared people were of you, and how unconfortable people get when someone walks in mc donalds with a gun...
you gotta understand that most of people are afraid of people displaying firearms, because THEY don't know you, they don't know if you have mental disorders or you're a robber....
you need to grow up.
ZzRvXzZ 3 months ago
@ZzRvXzZ Until 4 days ago Concealing was ILLEGAL. Open Carry was the only legal option. I made the video to prove, that people aren't scared. They don't go running, like you and others say. This vid serves as proof that people don't really care most of the time. If you disagree that's fine. But I have proof!!! A news crew distantly followed me one day to see people's reactions. They couldn't see anybody even noticing. I'm all grown up, are you?
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy
one question: are u going to carry it concealed now that it is legal?
ZzRvXzZ 3 months ago
@ZzRvXzZ I will likely still Open Carry most of the time. I will conceal for certain situations and reasons. Open Carry is still a good way to educate people and start valuable conversations. If you don't like it or disagree, that's cool. But there are many who do and choose too for a variety of reasons. Carrying should be a choice of any method.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Most criminals don't use holsters. They just walk around with guns however they want. Someone may just be scared of your gun because they are simply scared of guns period. It has nothing to do with who you are or what you are doing. It's one of the reasons cops get away with so much. Nobody would put up with 90% of the shit cops say if they didn't have guns.
Scott19seventy5 3 months ago
ZzRvXzZ -why do u want everyone to see your weapon? Why? Because it's a visible deterrent think about it. Not many criminals are gonna walk up to an armed person and steal their car. Convicted criminals have been asked, which would you target first, a known armed place or individual, or an unarmed? They always answer the unarmed. They are always looking for the easy target. I carry a sign that says I'm not an easy target. This video shows, most are not afraid. That's an irrational thought
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy See? that proves that you're a little kid, some criminals aren't scared of a little kid trying to look tough, they will just sneak behind you and shoot you in the head. Everyone around you knows that you're armed...

YES you are an easy target, in fact, you're in a higher level of danger than the avarage person.

Motofixxer 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Cars are economically and socially vital. Guns are a novelty and penis extension for a maladjusted generation of videogamers.
Bad argument is bad.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 I know a few people who don't have cars and there are millions across the country that don't own cars. So your statement cars being economically and socially vital is flat out false and wrong. Gotta have a better argument than that. Cars and firearms are both tools. It's a very comparable analogy. They are both the best tool for their purpose in most situations where they are needed.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Furthermore, guns aren't a "Tool" in the traditional sense anymore and they haven't been for a century. They're a recreational novelty now and an absurdly dangerous one at that.
Their only reasonable application is as a means of self-defense. Which is all fine and good, in my opinion. But the current system under which any Jim Bob with with no felony convictions or previously documented episodes of mental illness can buy firearms. And then sell them at gun shows to the felons.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 I don't know what tool means to you, but the definition of tool hasn't changed. Firearms are a tool whether it be for recreation, self defense, or ill intent. They are nothing by themselves. They are an inanimate object used for the intent of the possessor. The only purpose they have is that of the possessor. Almost everyone I know that carries does so for self defense. Why, because they are the most efficient modern tool for the job.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy And of course the people who carry do so for self-defense. What I'm saying is that the current system under which anyone with an IQ roughly equivalent to that of a toaster oven, with no prior felony convictions, can purchase firearms and sell them illegally.
You're a responsible gun owner who would like to carry for self-defense? Fine, register, submit to safeguards against the unlawful sale or transfer of your weapon, and get a permit.
Valyn66 3 months ago

It isn't.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 There ain't nothing wrong with me. I just believe in freedom and responsibility. Clearly your an ignorant person that thinks the world has to agree with you. News Flash!!! It ain't gonna happen. I don't care what you think! Your entitled to your opinion, but that means nothing to me. So you can rant all you want...but you won't change anything. So don't waste your breath.
mrmotofy 3 months ago

WTH is the difference?
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Fine. That's perfectly fine. Some weapons are too "efficient" to be generally available without reasonable safeguards. Hence why you can't stroll into Bob's Gunatorium and buy a fucking cruise missile.
So if you need to defend yourself, carry a knife. Or, better yet, carry a taser.
And yes, I have been to U.S. gun shows. Are you really so ignorant as to try and deny the universally-acknlowedged fact that gun shows circumvent the already-permissive gun control laws in place?
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 I choose to carry the most efficient tool. It's my choice and I have made it. I don't want another knife or taser(which is regulated like guns here). The "loophole" is silly because you can walk up to anyone almost anywhere and buy property. It's not a "loophole". OMG can you believe there are ways around rules. I can't believe that's possible, it can't be.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy So you're admittedly okay with felons (one of the very, very few people excluded from gun ownership under U.S. law) purchasing firearms? I think we're done here.
You're as bad as the criminals. Disgusting.
It's the the "same as buying property" because if it were regulated (like in Australia) you CAN'T just stroll up to any random person and buy guns from them. Ah, but I forget you're in favor of criminals owning guns. You'd let people die for your little hobby.
Waste of time.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Having a felony conviction does not mean you should lose the ability to protect yourself. Get felony for embezzelment, lose the right to defend yourself??? Many learn the error of there ways after serving time. Change the way they make decisions. Yes they are still human beings, some have made bad decisions, some are innocent, they still have the right to protect themselves. If you disagree...fine then disagree. But you clearly can't converse without name calling and degradation.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
Oh yee of tunnel vision, having a rule about possession of a specific tool. Does not stop a criminal from being a criminal. There are already plenty of rules about committing crimes. Clearly they don't stop the criminal do they??? If they commit a crime with a weapon, lockem up for life I don't care. But I don't deserve to be treated like a criminal until I commit an act harming someone. It doesn't matter if you disagree. I will still carry my choice of defense tool. Don't like it...walk away!!
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy You sound like a slave owner.
"It's my gosh dern right as an American dern it!"
When you were a kid, did you ever think you'd grow up to be the same kind of man who enslaved human beings?
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 A slave owner...that is a new level, and completely unrelated. I never said anything about any nationality. I have the innate right to protect myself by any means. Independent and outranking ANY statutory rules or governments. That is a right that can't be taken away except by physical restraint. There is nothing more basic. I have the right to choose, and I have. Nothing you say will EVER change that.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Unless the law changes. Which some day it will, because it's common sense for it too. And slavery is entirely relevant, because you base your interpretation of "rights" on the same kind of archaic legal thinking. If one were to look just to the founding fathers, slavery would still be illegal today.
You have a right to defend yourself. But as I've established again and again, there is NOTHING that enumerates exactly what you're allowed to defend yourself with. Like a flamethrower.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 I'm not talking about legal thinking. And slavery is illegal today. I assume you meant legal??? We have rights as human beings, that can't be taken away. Slavery is not one of them. Forcing another to do something is causing them harm= A crime. Your right...nothing enumerates what I use to defend myself. I choose for myself. That's my point! If some don't like it, so what. We are not given Rights. They supersede and exist independently of rules or governments.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy My point is that people centuries ago used the same kind of twisted thinking to declare owning another human being a "right." They believed it just as completely as you believe you have a right to strut around with any weapon known to man.
They were wrong. You are wrong.
Get it?
We are not given rights, hmm? Slave owners sure were convinced of their "rights." It's like arguing with a child. It's literally like trying to tell my 12 year old niece Justin Bieber is awful.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 I'm sure they did try and justify themselves. But they were still wrong to enslave another human being against their will. That's a crime against humanity. That's a far cry from a choice of tools to carry.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@Valyn66 No Rights aren't given. Constitution Excerpt "Equality; inherent rights. Section 1. [As amended Nov. 1982 and April 1986] All people are born equally free and independent, and have certain inherent rights; among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; to secure these rights, governments are instituted,
I'm wrong in your opinion...So what!!!
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy So keep on howling about rights. Some day the law will change and after everyone settles down and quits whining, you'll see that the sky doesn't fall after all. And it might, you know, actually make us a little safer. Guns sold illegally to criminals kill more people every year than Al-Qaeda. And yet we spend trillions of dollars and thousands of lives to mitigate THAT threat.
But, man, when it comes to our deadly toys, watch out. Anyway, this is absurd. You're a silly, silly man.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Millions of people will not let the "laws" change to your liking. Criminals kill people, not the guns. Guns can't do anything by themselves. They require an operator! Well at least your name calling is getting a little calmer so I will tolerate that one. Absurd? You commenting and arguing and trying to enforce your nanny state opinions, on my video. After repeatedly being told your wasting your time. Let it go man, let it go.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy As I said, you don't have any positions other than the, "I'm entitled to my opinion and I'm set in my ways, so you're wasting your time."
Slave owners said the same thing to the Abolitionists... those laws got changed too.
It's gonna happen soon, buddy. Are you going to cry like a little child or admit the laws bring the United States in line with the common-sense approach the rest of the world figured out decades ago.
Valyn66 3 months ago
If I need to defend myself, I don't want a fair fight I want to survive!!! And will use anything to my advantage, within reason.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
You're deliberately downplaying the effect of all the recreational sport shooters. They're the ones flooding the market with guns. You guys like to go on and on about how only law-abiding citizens obey gun laws but that's not the point. It's a question of availability. If a felon wants to illegally obtain a weapon in the United States it's as easy as strolling into a gun show with some cash. That same felon in Australia would have to rob a military base or smuggle it in from overseas. Get it?
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 The tools will always be available to those criminals who seek them. No rules will ever stop it. There will always be a black market!!! Look at Chicago, New York, DC or elsewhere in the world. The bans clearly don't work. Last I checked criminals still had guns in Australia. Even with all their rules against ownership. Also an island is much easier to control what enters, a large land mass...not so much.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy Now you're just idly insisting, "But...but...the bans don't work!!!" The bans don't work in the United States because, as I said, the guns are so readily available that buying one illegally is a fucking cake walk. You make think, "criminals still have guns in Australia" but that's spoken purely out of ignorance about gun crime in Australia. The United States has just as much control over it's borders as Australia. It should have more, considering the billions spent on Homeland Security
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 You are indeed either a dumb fuck or a liar. Gun crime in Australia is up. For 25 years law abiding Auzzies have been without their guns and forced to be prey to armed criminals. So, which one is it. Are you fucking stupid or a fucking liar?
Paulsfullofshit 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Your ASSumptions don't equate to reality. AU is only about 3\4 the size of US, that means 1\4 less borders to control. AU is also an island which is easier to manage than the land and shorelines of US. Think about it!!! Land borders that can be crossed by smugglers, as well as by boat. Homeland Security...That's a whole different conversation
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy OH.... right. Because illegal guns are just FLOWING across the Canadian and Mexican borders. Funny, you're the only person to notice that. And when I say that, I'm including of people like the BATF, Border Patrol, FBI, etc.
Get real. The guns used in crimes committed in the United States aren't smuggled in illegally. They're bought legally and eventually sold illegally and that's a documented fact. Sorry to burst your little bubble.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 And??? so tools are being used by criminals with ill intent. Gee that's not surprising. Anytime something is outlawed there will always be black market and criminals, that's a fact! Here is another one...taking away a tool will not stop the crime of the criminal. He is a criminal and doesn't care about rules and laws.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@mrmotofy And if those guns aren't as easy to obtain as strolling into a gun show, what effect do you think THAT will have on the illegal acquisition of firearms? Just wouldn't matter?
You're just being willfully dumb now. You're just parroting things you've heard. It's not about criminals following the laws, it's about them being able to skirt right around the laws by buying guns from private owners and gun shows. What's it going to take for this to sink in? For the love of Zeus.
Valyn66 3 months ago
@Valyn66 FYI, likely nothing you say will "sink in". I disagree with you on many things we have discussed. Obviously, you think I have to follow your thoughts and opinions. That ain't gonna happen, so don't bother trying. I don't really care if criminals "skirt around" a bad rule. The object they use doesn't change their acts and intent. The focus is in the wrong direction. The liability of one selling an object is wrong and irrelevant to the act the buyer uses the object for.
mrmotofy 3 months ago
@Valyn66 Hey dumb ass. I have been in Australia. You can get a gun if you want one bad enough. Same in Britain as well. Why don't you take your lying ass and move to Australia since you are so big on it. Guns are available everywhere. DO YOU GET IT?
