This is just boring and horrible. Join a band, Marty. Your charisma and talent doesnt carry to a shit solo career. Just assemble some good metal band. It's going to happen some day but we just have to wait for few years when he gets fed up with this. And when everyone else gets few up with this.. and the japanese..
asu e no sanka is one of my favorite instrumentals of all time. Kaeritakunattayo, eki, tsume tsume tsume, yuki no hana(amazing), gift(song surprised me and the solo is awesome). All the songs on it are awesome, makes you like jpop.
Get a life guys. This work is Steve Vaiesque. Nevermind the fact that his linguistic skills are marginal to average at best. What he took several minutes to say was...I'm proud of myself and my work. I like what I did. Wow! Watch out Stavinski and Chopin there's a guy who learned a few arpeggios and half time transitional melodies, and oh by the way, he didn't write any of it. Tell Jimmy Rosenberg to put his earplugs in.
i love marty friedmans work. old partnership with jason becker, megadeth and the solo career. Big inspiration to my own guitar journey. I dont like the people who try to do a bad image of his never work outside the megadeth era. The musical understanding process and learning, is to move outside frames personally and implement them in your style. Its always people with no musical talent who trash
I miss Marty.. :( He was great in Countdown to Extinction and Rust in Peace. He was the missing puzzle for the band, but still I idolize this man, never missed out on all his new stuff. Marty Friedman forever!
The guitar that he's using is a PRS Single. I've been seeing him all over YouTube with it, from Guitar World's Betcha Can't Play This to some concert footage.
If he does get a signature guitar, I think it'll be the first Marty Friedman signature guitar that's available to America without importing from Japan since 2000 when he left Jackson.

wow he sounds so calm and collected, as opposed to being aloof and excited in past interviews.
his statements here are consistent with his having left megadeth. very nice.

Do I sense a PRS Marty Friedman Signature?
AndySan 2 years ago 6
Doubtful, I think they'll make him an endorser though.
I'd succumb and buy one then though.

We can only hope though.

Weird.
All his Ibanez models were available in Europe
Usercool 2 years ago
His Ibanez sigs are super-rare here in the States, and even rarer now that they're discontinued.
Honestly, I could find his Jackson signature easier than his Ibanez, and his Jacksons have been discontinued for almost a decade!
AndySan 2 years ago 3
Well he left Ibanez and PRS are now endorsing him, so I have a feeling you're right. ;)
