if a person is completely unable to tell right from wrong that is one thing. But just because a persons ability to restrain them self is lost doesnt mean they dont know right and wrong. If they hide from police, hide bodies, make up alibis or employ deception on their victims - they understand wrong

This isn't entirely accurate. They're ignoring the fact that a lot of people naturally have sadistic sexual tendencies.
It's not all from being abused, tortured, brain-damaged etc.
