I grew up in Michigan along the border wiith Canada and always remembered seeing a lot of Canadian flags flying to show respect and friendship to our neighbors from the north. I have since relocated to the U.S. South and have carried on the tradition. Canada's flag flies proudly at my home along with the Stars and Stripes. God bless Canada.

I'm from Texas, and I always enjoy the Canadian Anthem, either in English or in French, I always see Canada as a place of friendship, and their anthem reflects all Canadians, God bless America and Canada!

@TABTX92 Thanks man! When we were in school, we learned a "bilingual " version. So I have trouble sometimes with the total English version. I can't sing it totally "en francais", but I'm not really sure I can sing the whole thing in English either! ha ha! Lord knows, I don't care what language it is sung in, if it's an Olympic medal ceremony! As long as it's mine!

This is one of my favorite anthems. I remember being in summer camp with lots of Canadians and thus singing both anthems. They were very sensitive about any perceived slights to their nation by us Americans. But I suppose we are too.
I don't understand the Canada bashing in my country. In my view, are people should be as close or closer than any two nations on Earth.
