@JennaDart Why did you have to sell this car? By the way. I want a 1971-1972 Dodge Dart with a 225 slant 6. These are great cars. Ya' can't kill a slant 6! The leaning tower of power RULES!
@MrBrombomb I had to sell it to make the house payment ... they drove her straight to Portland, someday I will be able to own another dodge :) I did enjoy working on this car very much and spent alot of time fixing it up
these cars are great, Very reliable & good looking too. You should get the seats re-upulstersd, & new carpet. That would make it look really nice. Enjoy it.
I will almost certainly get my own Dodge Dart 225 '70- '71 after when I've sold mine Chevy Van G30 which is just too huge for a one man (but the engine is awesome: 6,6 liter V8 diesel, with 270 horsepower and 400 nm of torq). Because of the Dodge is so realiable I would run it as a daily driver.
Nice Car!!. she sounds Great!!. and Congrats for saving her from that field. she didnt deserve that at all. and for sitting like that the body is in very good shape considering.
I myself have a Slant Six in my '73 Duster. and i love it!. you can still get items like Carpet and things like that on Ebay...i got the carpet for my Duster on Ebay...(oh yeah...mine is the same color Blue interior)...Congrats on a great find! Good Luck with Her!!!
love watching the amp guage....old mopars had a pretty good alt gauge......a neet feature in an old mopar.....only problem is that most of them didtn have an idiot light with the gauge, so if your driving it at night, and the dash lights dont work, or your not paying attention to a constant negative reading, you'll be lucky enough to make it home without a drained battery
my older sister bought one of these new in 71. She beat the crap out of it, never changed the oil, sometimes ran it on virtually no oil. The car lasted her a long time....amazing
These cars along with the Plymouth valiants are bulletproof if taken care of. Drive it easy and maintain the hell out of it and it will out live any of the plastic computerized cars out there today...and NO car payment.
mine is banged up, I will get a better vid before the snow hits I think. It was left in a field with the hood open and bullet holes in the radiator. I since then put 60,000 miles on her with a new radiator. She always starts up... I love this car !!
sweet dart, ive got one damn near identical cept mine is a 70 with the 198 and green lol. if you want more power go get a performance coil like a flamethrower coil and gap the plugs to .45 .... it will gain in hp a bit just enough to tell lol
thanks you guys .. very much

It's nice seeing a vid of a type of car that normally is forgotton by the enthusiast masses. Leaning Tower Of Power under the hood!

You don't see many Mopars these days with slant six engines. Most of them have V8 engines. It's nice to see a Dodge Dart with a slant six engine.

Nice car. I love American cars of the late 60s, early 70s. I love the horizontal speedometer. How about a drive in the car? That'd be so awesome!
