i figured you would pull the vegetarian card, the animals are not being "savagely and brutally murdered" murder only applies to human-beings, not soul-less animals put on this earth to provide food for us. I suggest you read the book Hunting - Ethical and moral Considerations, by Lark Ritchic. This book my help with our little dilemma. A passage from the book reads,"When a wolf stalks and kills a rabbit, it is senseless to say that the wolf has violated the rabbit's right to life and freedom.

We can accept that in this event, there is no question of rights, other than a personal view. The event may be considered acceptable in that death is a part of natural wilderness life. Therefore the death of an animal caused by a hunter can only be examined in the human social or personal context."

how so? that turkey probably died instantly. most of the time they do. its just muscle spasms that cause them to move like that. that arrow went into the neck and probably cut the spine.

I've got some arrow heads that are flat nosed with little springs that catch the limbs so if you miss the squirl they will not fly to who knows were. They also have the fethers on backward to prevent them from flying to far if they miss both squirl and limb.
