Space video wasn't the greatest, even though space battles are generally really fun. The ground battle caught my attention though. The epic music cranked it up a notch for both.

the land battles were awful on this. you moved so sluggishly and had so many limitations on what and where you could build. boring and drawn out.

the space battles on the other hand were very enjoyable. I suppose there wasn't a whole lot of strategy to them in the end. just spread the enemy out and thus ensure that you have more guns firing at once than they do and that's about it. However it was visually amazing and the sheer number of different units was impressive.

you can take down 3 imperial star destroyers with surface ion cannons and a level 1 space station, just use a-wings on the hangars and take them down slowly.

@Ascensiam ion cannons are so cheap, especially when you have more than one of them on a single planet. If you're playing as the rebellion and thus don't have to worry about raid fleets then all you need is 3 ion cannons and you'll incapacitate every thing they have. after that you could kill them with X wings if you had too. It's complete invincibility for any given planet, which translates to inevitable victory(even if it takes all day)
