The problem with the governments that are representative be they republic or democracies, is this. The will of the people is god, not Christ. The government is only expressing what it's very structure demands it express, the will of people, most of whom are not Spirit filled believers in Christ.
Can you make a law to make these Nonbelievers live righteous lives? no because mans government cannot bring forth righteousness that is only found in a relationship to God. Whether you like it or not, by the rules of the Republic, they are the government too.
one last thing, The end of the age is the removal of the tares while the wheat is remains and is stored on the barn. The house of the lard, the new Jerusalem, his abiding place. This city IS the bride, those who have come into union with Christ.
God is giving us grace to finally become what we were made to be sons who walk completely blameless and holy before Him.
Everything in the kingdom that offends will be removed and burned with unquenchable fire. This means God is purging the earth with fire, not destroying it as it has been falsely misinterpreted/translated in scripture.

The battle is to bring men to the headship of Christ. not fight a political or economic battle.
The kingdom is men and women coming under the headship of Christ, not mans law based government, but the walking by the Spirit. We are not under law, but under grace. Grace is not license, but god's ability to change us into holy people. The kingdom is about god changing people to be conformed to the image of Christ as sons of God.
This age we are entering of the kingdom is the time in which rule of law will be replaced by the rule of the Spirit in men and womens hearts.
