What a bummer! i'm a songwriter too and spent money I could ill-afford to demo my song (which I'll post on YouTube eventually.) I suspect they're giving the gig to Kara as part of her contract. Hey- she doesn't need the exposure. We songwriters out there do! How can we unite and complain?
