  • A true Rock N Roll song. An overlooked gem that doesnt sound dated and has enough gut and sinister of any Blues song to stand up there with the greats from The Rolling Stones, Clapton. Imagine Keith rocking this song. The video is ultra cool surrealistic menace! It simply ROCKS. The dark side of TTD, his Black Album!

  • Man -- this is still one of my favorite albums. Why people slept on it back in the day, I'll never know.

  • man is black funk rocker, aint no one going to love that,

  • A lot of people that loved the first album, just hated this one, I thought it was great, just different.

  • And that's why they hated it. It was DIFFERENT. Nevermind how great it was (and still is; probably the least dated album in his catalog). If people hear something they're not accustomed to then they usually lash out in fear of it. That's always been the problem here in the U.S. and as a result many talented artists such as him are forced to go "undergound" or overseas where they're appreciated more.

  • I had this one back in the day and STILL listen to it. It has so many great cuts!

  • Sanada Maitreya has renamed his song it is called "My life in hell this side of the burning fire"

  • I love this artist!!!

    check out his current music,

    google Sananda Maitreya

that's his new name since 2001

    ROCK ON SANANDA MAITREYA!!!

  • This track is just wonderful!!!!

  • is this off the Vibrator album???

  • No. It's off "Neither Fish Nor Flesh"

  • thanks so much. Lost touch with his music and now will get reaquainted. Hes so good!!

  • I,m honestly not gay,but I have to say (purely as an affirmative statement)that Terence Trent D,arby is one of the most beautifully handsome men that has ever existed!

  • lol, i totally agree too lol, and im a guy, its not gay lol

  • One Love

  • So beautiful and f**ked up.

Anyone have a better copy of the vid?

  • Thank you soooo much for posting this. I remember this video from when I was a kid. This is hard fucking song to find. Awesome!!!!

  • super album yes sananda post millenium rock!!!

  • amazing

  • Dig the Hendrix hat. Correction: What have I done to **** GOD off. Whatever it might've been, it's covered.

  • Great Song !!!!

  • anyone have a better quality of this video??

  • this song was an unexpected, incredible, beautiful oddity when it came out, and still is. singing is perfect, arrangements amazing, and the drum fills are unbelievably funky. this song is a classic and a one of a kind treasure at the same time. waiting for the artist to release another killer album. Peace.

  • Does anyone realize that this is one of the best records ever written? But in God's name, I hope I'm not viewing satanic ritual abuse in the background.

  • THIS WAS HIS BEST ALBUM NO DOUBT.

  • Do you want him to come to YOUR city?

    YOU NOW CAN DEMAND IT!!

Click my name to see his off. YT account where the link is mentioned at the COMMENTS and BULLETINS.

  • Keep Funkin

  • He is brilliant. He was probably saved by God from becoming a superstar.

  • motherteresaprays, he changed his name for spiritual reasons, to find a new identity, and through a series of dreams, the name Sananda Maitreya came up and so he has adopted that name ever since. He actually changed his name to Sananda Maitreya as early as 1995, but it was official changed by law in 2001. If I'm wrong somewhat with this information Sananda fans, please correct me.

  • Sananda in concert on 18thAugust 2007 in Rockozarènes in Switzerland!! Be blessed, Sananda

  • Dumb question, Why did he change his name or was this his real name? I just remember him being Terrence

  • He looks ssooo sexay in this. Lovin it!

  • In the near future and I know that this is too much to ask, but can a group of Sananda fans expand the number of Sananda videos to more than 3 pages on Youtube. I feel that the collection of videos so far are fall so little and undermine how talented and well deserving of recognition Sananda is. I would love to see more interviews (especially during his Introducing and NFNF eras) and for goodness sake pose concert clips from the NFNF era.

  • Man i used to think terence trent d'arby was dead tytyty for posting this i still love "sign your name"

  • we are ere

  • this is from my fav album neither fish nor flesh. very underrated album tho'

  • Hello? How come. Someone has to respond to this great rare music video one of these days. Where are you Sananda fans? Don't fail on me.

  • thnx 4 posting this hvnt seen it since 1990

  • In the profile with the peacefuzz, he looks more Spanish and Portuguese.

  • WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! It's great to see another clip of Sananda from the Neither Fish Nor Flesh era. This is the second music video that I seen during this era. The first one was To Know Someone Deeply Is To Know Softly. It is just sad that Sananda doesn't have the rights to these music videos and the music industry selfishly keep them locked up away from the public for years. I hope that I see concert clips from this era soon. Thanks a bunch mzklvr. This really made my day.

  • Thanx 4 posting this. I've never seen this before.
