I believe the trainers of the famous lippazaners horses use long line training for young horses not ready to be ridden, they train them so when they get in the saddle the horse already knows the visual and verbal commands and only need to apply leg and body to these already known commands to complete the training. my friend would know for sure he rode the lippazaners in illonois and in shows around the country.

My friends cob is ridden bittless, she had a accident where she can no longer have a bit.
I think its a great bridle and should be used on all horses that its suitable for.
