I am only a monarch player, so I may not be the best source, but that cows source looked great, I would have worked on the mine until I was at one turn to AH then canceled the build (the spent turns are saved for when I eventually go back to finish) then the turn AH was discovered I'd get started building a pasture to finish it as soon as possible. It would yield 6 food+production, which is the key for early settlers and workers, the most important builds until writing or so, and + food to grow
Why dosnt he make any more? he was really poular and everyone liked his vids, im afraid he died, not even jokeing,i really think he died, people die everyday, maybe unluckly he was one of those ppl :( :( :( :( :( :(
Ohhh, overflow of hammers, never heard of that! Also like the way you approach desert terrain like that. Definitely true.
I'm sad that you decided not to continue with the videos. I really liked them all and will give them all a thumbs up now. I'll watch whatever you put up next, if you ever do, be it a continuation of this playthrough or the next 100 turns of the previous one. Or whatever, really! I hope you'll reconsider. You have a lot of fans here.
great videos man, really have enjoyed all of them, you really have given me a new mindset for going into games, and since enforcing them, have become a MUCH better player. thanks again!!
Great videos. I have a couple questions, first - are you going to post the rest of the 100 turns for this playthrough? Second, I was wondering why you didn't go straight for that village next to the lake with your warrior?
Excellent videos. I hope this one has more early use of Great People - I'd like to learn how to better use them. Also, how do you decide exactly when to build non-resource mines, cottages, or farms and which, vs developing resources? Cheers.
I am glad you have taken the time to makes these videos. I am really looking to become a better player. I can't beat noble currently but with things I have learned here I might have a chance I am going to try a game later. Thanks again I am looking foward to all your videos please don't stop.
yea im down with the idea of roading ure resources so you have access to the health bonus early. This isnt so important for your capital, but if you have a new city that sits in a load of jungle or flood plains then you will need that health bonus straight away. Seeming as you start with wheel this is the best thing to do.
@tks2103 hey you gotta make more videos man, you are a very good civ player and have helped me understand many of the games concepts more thoroughly. keep sending out the vids!
One thing I am not sure of is ending your turn before you check where exactly you met this new leader. You cold still see the scou sitting in the SE of your cap on the second turn, but he might have disappeared as well and then you could not tell where he came from.

About the mine:
Cancel mining just one turn before AH. And go back to mining after.

I agree. Roading is important and I don't do it often enough. I totally forgot I had The Wheel to start with as well.

Don't worry about the worker being idle - you have the wheel and can spend some of the "no AH" turns building roads.
