I don't like how they put their songs onto commercials. They were kinda forced to sell out. They kept refusing commercials, and then the company they were with refused them refusing anymore, or they'd cancel with them. so they had to. kinda ghey in the end. still, great music.

I don't even think doing commercials is selling out these days. You hear better music on commercials than the radio (at least in the USA)... Go! Team, New Young Pony Club, Miyagi & Fujiya...

Actually, I have found lots of a great independent bands from major brand commercials the last few years. It is definitely a growing trend.

As much as it sucks forcing a band to hock target, or Doritos, or something, it's cool I've learned some good bands i otherwise wouldn't have. And, contributed monetarily back to the band in many cases.
