EXTRA TIP: if you are running remotejoy add-on it will ONLY read the memory stick even after you select the UMD for usb. you'll have to go into your bios menu and disable all the remotejoy add-ons b4 your psp will switch to the umd through the usb.

is there any way to break down my psp umd file that i change over to my desk to? because i was running a test got a game backed up dexter it is about 600,000 mb or sumthing and when i do the umd tranfer it say's dexter is bout 1,665,789..a gig and sum chang how can i just back up the game file and not all the other crap

Im not 100% sure if this is true, but I heard you can open the file with a program and delete/compress useless files like videos or menus.

One thing I know for sure is that you can compress the file with a PSP file compressor. Look it up on google
